"I haven’t had any feelings for her for a long ti. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have broken up with her."
David paused, then earnestly said, "Please give a chance to make up for this. I will give you a satisfactory answer to this matter."
Frank Parker didn’t say anything, and a faint smile hung around his thin lips.
David waited anxiously for a while, then heard him say indifferently, "Whether it’s satisfactory or not, we’ll only know after you’ve done it."
