On the black leather chair, a handso man raised his head, his cold and penetrating phoenix eyes half-closed as he looked at David Benington: "What do you want to say? You can say it now."
As soon as their eyes t, David felt a chilling fear.
He even felt a cold creeping up in his back.
Swallowing the saliva produced by his anxiety, David averted his gaze, daring not to look directly at Frank Parker any longer, and then respectfully said, "Mr. Parker, what I want to talk about is related to Oga Huntley. Actually, Oga has another identity, she didn’t always look like this, and she didn’t use this na before."
Frank Parker already knew from Gary White that Oga Huntley was, in fact, Annie Lawrence.
However, he didn’t expect that David wanted to talk about this.
Was he trying to betray Annie?
But it’s not strange that David would do such a thing.
If he was upright and responsible, he wouldn’t have betrayed Joanna Lawrence in the first place.
"Oh, really?" Although Frank already knew the truth, he acted as if he knew nothing, raising an eyebrow, "Then what is her other identity? From what you say, I might know her?"
"Yes." Without hesitation, David betrayed Annie, "Mr. Parker should know her. She is Joanna Lawrence’s forr stepsister, Annie Lawrence. Her current appearance was created through plastic surgery after Joanna."
"Annie Lawrence?" Frank raised his eyebrow again, "Isn’t that your ex-girlfriend? So, did you knowingly sign her to the Parker Group’s brokerage company? Were you planning to use the company’s resources to promote your ex-girlfriend?"
With a shallow smile on his lips, Frank’s voice suddenly turned cold, "David Benington, have you thought about the consequences of your actions?"
David was startled and imdiately broke into a cold sweat. He hastily tried to explain, "Mr. Parker, she begged in tears to give her a chance. She begged for a long ti, thinking that she was Mr. Rowlett’s daughter and she and Joanna were sisters for many years."
"So, I softened my heart and signed her."
"I thought she must have changed a lot after coming back this ti, not like before. But I didn’t expect her true nature to be so hard to change. I thought that at this point, I couldn’t hide her identity any longer. So I ca to find Mr. Parker and tell the truth."
"Mr. Parker, Annie Lawrence does not regret and her nature is hard to change. The termination of her contract with the company is absolutely the right decision. Now I deeply regret signing her, as she has had an impact on the company, especially on Mr. Parker’s reputation."
"I cannot escape responsibility for this matter. But I hope Mr. Parker can give a chance to make ands."
Frank Parker looked coldly at David’s fearful and pale face, his eyes full of contempt and disgust.
This was the man who almost married Joanna Lawrence?
And he even betrayed Joanna?
He didn’t know what kind of taste Joanna had when she chose such a lousy man in the first place.
Fortunately, she didn’t marry David in the end.
Otherwise, it would be like a blossoming flower stuck in cow dung.
"Make ands?" Frank Parker sneered, "How do you want to make ands?"
David rolled his eyes, and after a few seconds of silence, he said decisively, "The situation was caused by Annie Lawrence. I think it’s too easy for her to just terminate her contract."
