She couldn’t even stand steadily.
She felt her body losing strength, unable to muster even the tiniest bit of force.
This wasn’t the sa as when she had gotten drunk before.
Mr. Canton picked her up and carried her to a large bed by the side.
As Annie was thrown onto the soft bed, her consciousness blurred, and she saw several n appear in the room that initially had just her and Mr. Canton.
In a daze, she heard a familiar voice, "You guys can start now. Rember to get a clear shot of her face."
The voice struck her foggy mind like a blunt force. Annie’s eyes suddenly widened, looking in the direction the voice had co from.
But she couldn’t see anything clearly.
All she saw was a blurred figure.
Before Annie completely lost consciousness, she heard that familiar voice again, "Feel free to have your fun with her. Be creative as possible. You have the whole night, so don’t waste it."
"Yes, Mr. David, rest assured. We’ll make sure the video is fantastic. We won’t let you down."

After taking two days off, Joanna returned to Cascade to continue filming "My Internship Parents."
Due to her absence, the director fild other people’s parts first. When she returned, she made up so of the scenes she had missed. Thankfully, the filming schedule wasn’t significantly affected.
For the next period, the filming went very smoothly.
A week after returning to Cascade, Joanna received a call from Jeremy that sothing had happened to Annie.
Jeremy said, "Annie was gang-raped, and it was all fild and posted online. Now everyone knows about it. She believes David Benington is responsible and went after him with a knife, wanting to die with him."
He continued, "During their argunt, she got stabbed multiple tis by David and was hit in a critical spot. She’s still in the hospital and her life hangs in the balance. Apparently, her chances of survival are quite low."
Jeremy added, "David’s been arrested. He stabbed her in public; there were countless eyewitnesses. Regardless of whether Annie survives, he’s bound to be convicted. Moreover, if it’s proven that he ordered the filming of the assault, he’ll likely spend the rest of his life in prison."
Joanna was utterly shocked.
It took her so ti to recover.
"You said Annie was stabbed by David? And the police arrested him?"
"Yes, the incident just happened, so I doubt it’ll be on the news yet. But I’ve checked with soone, and there’s no doubt about it."
Joanna was astonished for a while.
She couldn’t quite put her finger on what she was feeling at that mont.
Both Annie and David were people she despised intensely.
He used to be her childhood sweetheart, and they almost got married.
Annie, on the other hand, had grown up with her as a little sister.
But they had secretly betrayed her and joined hands.
Joanna had once despised and cursed them in her heart, hoping that they would be punished.
And now...
It seed that this despicable couple had finally received their retribution.
Annie’s life hung by a thread.
As for David, under criminal detention, his future was dood.
If this was their retribution, it could be considered a satisfying outco for everyone.
