My Servant System Chapter 1313 - 1312: Trial Surprise

The various bison we had hunted for both sport and for food were laid out around us, their bones picked clean while their hides were strewn about on the ground, laid there both to dry and as bait, sothing that the Demon Wolf had decided for us.

Her reasoning was that the scent of death might lure so hopeful or curious predators over to this position to help us get closer to finishing this trial, and even though I argued that it would likely have the opposite effect she just waved my concerns away and instead had focus on my task.

With our bellies full of grilled at and our Core's replenished with an excess of mana we were prepared to began walking around at random once again, her theory of luring predators in falling flat in the hours we spent resting.

She never once discussed it after that happened, and I decided to not press the issue at all since we were already on a rather odd balancing beam when it ca to our rapport; one mont we were bantering and having so fun, then the next she was making it clear that she wanted nothing more than to fuck and have under her for hours on end.

That constant shift between the moods we fostered during this downti was sowhat draining, but it beca easier the longer it happened in either direction; I could quell my own lust and take my mind off of her, but at the sa ti I was learning to deal with it on my own when I couldn't realistically afford to 'lose' my emotions.

It was all beginning to pile up in my mind, each of those things stacking up within and making it harder to not see her in certain lights, to not snap at her whenever I noticed her looking at in certain ways.

When I caught her staring straight at my butt when I walked past her or when she got too close and raked her eyes over my chest, the way her gaze lingered on my curves whenever she felt like she could get away with it, the gleam in her eye when she decided she didn't care about getting caught...

I hated and loved it so damn much, because each ti she stared I felt the need to flaunt myself yet also a deep desire to drape a sheet over my head and hide myself from the world; it was a duality that split apart, but it was proving useful.

Especially since both of us could go from this dangerous ga of giving and taking to suddenly combat ready and prepared to kill whatever got too close and looked too dangerous to be ignored; a serpent burst from the soil and tried to bite Lady Fenyras' leg, only to be swiftly kicked and impaled as we killed it together, or how a gigantic bird swooped down and attempted to scoop up like so small prey just to take a tal arrow to the face.

We did things that got us away from the lust and into the wary, defensive postures that would keep us alive, and we stayed in those states for a long ti, never tiring from entering them and instead using the lust as a reprieve from the monotony.

The issue of being here all by myself - with none of my lovers with - was that the worst part of myself was being given far too much rope than I was comfortable with, because I was getting far closer to hanging myself than I ever thought I would.

The Gate appeared out of nowhere and stood nacingly within the middle of the plains, rippling with an abundance of energy and casting a rainbow light all around itself as it 'stared' at us from afar, like it was beckoning for us to get closer.
