"Just the right ti to visit the ntor."
Upon hearing Raine’s words, Elise, Sulfur Vine, Reya, and others around looked over with various expressions.
Everyone present knew that Raine once studied Warhamr with the Dwarf Humbert for so ti.
"When are you leaving?"
"Is it set for these couple of days? I just promised Elder Sharly that I would stay put at the Divine Hall for a few days to seriously study Divine Art."
"Is Lord redith going with you?"
...
Because they were heading to the Mountain Dwarf Kingdom, redith’s identity as a Drow Elf was too sensitive, so Raine did not ask her to co along.
Elise hadn’t been to the Earth Divine Hall for quite a while and needed ti to settle down and learn new Divine Art; as the main healer of the Giant Blade Squad, Sulfur Vine was still clearing out scattered mbers of the Black Fist Army and couldn’t leave either.
"Raine! You’re going to the Iron Hills? Then I’ll go with you!"
At this mont, Laisa, having heard the news from sowhere, ran over excitedly, puffing her chest, and volunteered.
Raine looked at Laisa, deep in thought.
Laisa?
Feels a bit noisy.
However, Laisa misunderstood Raine’s gaze as a sort of evaluation and blushed slightly, putting her hands on her hips, "What are you looking at! Even though I’m not as good as Elise or Sulfur Vine, I can cook delicious food for you!"
"Besides, don’t get it wrong; it’s mainly because I haven’t been to the Iron Hills yet, and I’ve heard the Mountain Dwarves have lots of unique cuisines. Otherwise, even if you invited , I wouldn’t go!"
"Hmph!"
The won around couldn’t help but cover their mouths, chuckling softly.
Laisa quietly whispered to Elise, "Idiot, still laughing, and you didn’t help with a word. I’m looking out for Raine, you know."
"Who... Stop talking nonsense. Who wants you to look out." Elise blushed, looking around nervously, worried that others might have heard.
....
The following morning.
The previous night’s banquet did not affect Raine and Laisa’s tily departure.
As the dawn illuminated the land, the two had already mounted the Griffin arranged by the Adventurer’s Association.
The Iron Hills were situated southeast of Dorne City, and upon counting the cities along the route, there were actually thirteen. However, if you consider the number of kingdoms crossed, it’s relatively simple.
After crossing from the Soladin Kingdom through the Wetland Kingdom Fadir, they arrived at the Iron Hills, the Royal Capital of the Mountain Dwarf Kingdom.
Two hours later.
On the Griffin.
"Wait, Raine, didn’t you say you were going to the Iron Hills to visit the ntor?" Laisa finally couldn’t help but ask as they took off again, "Why are we suddenly going to kill demons?"
After flying for about two hours, the two had just landed in the city of Airel, located southeast of Dorne City.
Laisa thought Raine wanted to rest for a while, but after getting off the Griffin Platform, she saw Raine heading straight to the Adventurer’s Association downstairs to check for missions.
This was quite different from the trip she had expected.
Initially, she thought it would be a leisurely visit with a culinary tour.
Of course, it’s not that she’s afraid of fighting; the issue is, she heard every word when Raine inquired about the mission.
It’s a demon!
And he hopes it’s a Challenge Level of at least seven or eight!
Heavens! She’s only Classes Level four; fighting a demon?
That’s too much for her, right?
If she had known, she wouldn’t have begged Raine to co along.
"Isn’t it just a spur-of-the-mont thing." Raine looked at Laisa, sowhat puzzled.
Are demons chickens?
Spur-of-the-mont?
Laisa was sowhat speechless. She wanted to say sothing but swallowed her words back.
After all, just a couple of days ago, a giant Enchanting Demon’s corpse lay by soone’s feet.
He has the right to say that.
"Are you scared?"
Raine’s question instantly fueled Laisa’s competitive spirit!
"Scared?! Are you joking? How could I be scared?" Laisa couldn’t help but stiffen her neck and speak against her will.
However, her slightly shifting gaze revealed sothing.
Seeing this, Raine couldn’t help but smile.
"Oh, right, Laisa, what’s that hard thing on your back?" Although Raine wore a Power suit, he could still feel that there seed to be sothing hard under Laisa’s Leather Armor in front of him.
"Ah? It’s a frying pan!"
Saying this, Laisa grabbed the pan’s handle from her lower back and pulled out a round frying pan not much larger than her palm.
This....
It’s really a frying pan?
Raine looked surprised, montarily at a loss for words.
"Raine, don’t underestimate this frying pan. It not only cooks delicious food, but its size and material were custom-made for . It’s actually a small shield for my back."
Laisa boasted, shaking the frying pan.
But then, as if she recalled sothing, Laisa turned to Raine and casually said, "Not comfortable with it poking you? Well, you’re in Plate Armor, and when the frying pan bangs against it, it clatters."
Saying that, Laisa slid the frying pan into a gap in the Leather Armor at the front of her abdon and then leaned back.
Although Raine was wearing Plate Armor, when he sat up, the skirt plate of his lower half would slide open to both sides; this design was for ease when riding horses or Griffins and such, and also for certain conveniences like using the restroom, etc.
One has to admit, the design of the Power suit was quite humanized.
However, as Laisa leaned back, her perky bottom pressed close, her Leather Armor’s skirt edge design would slightly move up while sitting down.
Thus, certain parts of the two were touching.
