Jared Quinn tilted his head, staring at the small, delicate figure, a trace of cold light flickered in his deep black eyes.

Dr. Mo had just exited the ward and overheard their conversation. He coughed slightly, inserted his hands within his white coat, and spoke up,
"When one person loves another too much and then gets hurt so deeply, from a psychological standpoint, it’s a frightening transition. Just like when soone dies and doesn’t rember their past life’s mories, emotions can also vanish completely after undergoing earth-shattering changes. Congratulations, you’ve completely let her go."
Jared Quinn withdrew his hand that was resting against the wall, adjusted his tie, and turned around. "You also think I was too hard on her before?"
Yet, in his mory, he hadn’t done anything. He hadn’t intended to abandon her.
"Was it not too much?" Dr. Mo countered. "You’ve hurt a woman’s heart to death once before, and if that’s not excessive, then what would be considered excessive?
Also, do you know how many tis she was bullied during her days with the Quinn Family? I often saw her covered in injuries."
Jared Quinn’s crimson lips straightened, his enchanting and cold features were hard, subtly mixed with complexity. Ever since he married her, besides telling her to stay quietly in the villa and be a proper Mrs. Quinn, he hadn’t cared about her life within the Quinn Family.
"Do you want her to cling to you like before? Want her to only see you alone?" Dr. Mo speculated. "According to psychology, if you want to heal soone’s heart, it’s possible, but it’s a long process, and the final outco may not be certain, after all, there are very few failed cases."
"Since when did you start studying psychology?" Jared Quinn sneered coldly.
"Doctors must know thirty-six trades, after all," Dr. Mo explained. Moreover, he was the Quinn Family’s private doctor, knowing a bit is better than not knowing, just like now when it ca into use.
Dr. Mo saw the man still staring in the direction of lody Thorne’s departure and couldn’t help but add another sentence, "Actually, a dead heart isn’t the worst tragedy. He recalled what lody Thorne just said, and the chill around him intensified. The woman Jared Quinn desired, even if she died, he wouldn’t let her beco soone else’s!
Dr. Mo watched as the man’s figure walked farther and farther away, a layer of cold sweat forming in his palms. He indeed was not a psychologist and didn’t understand human psychology, especially won’s psychology. What he had just said was rely sothing he had read in psychology books before.
He hadn’t fully grasped it himself, but he had to say it.
Dr. Mo turned back towards the old man in the ward and made an "OK" gesture.
The look of grave illness instantly vanished from Grandpa Quinn.
lody Thorne worried that Grandpa Quinn wouldn’t be used to hospital food and thus drove back to the Quinn Villa specifically to prepare so easily digestible, nutritious als.
