"Timothy, maybe I should follow her and see," Timothy Lockwood suggested. "The way she’s so flustered, it seems like sothing’s really going on."
"That’s enough, the eting is adjourned," Jared Quinn said, putting down the docunt in his hand and adjusting his black suit.
When lody Thorne arrived at the address Director Irving had sent her, sure enough, there were many reporters and onlookers waiting there. She entered from the back door. All the actors in the crew were familiar faces. Apart from the woman who had been by Ivy’s side and didn’t like her much, the rest were fine.
After having a few drinks, lody Thorne said goodbye to Director Irving and entered another private room where Nina King was already waiting for her. There were also a few n in the room, including the actor with quite a few dark spots that lody Thorne had noticed.
Though she’d seen him on the computer before, she still needed to see him in person.
She wore a mask so she wasn’t worried about being recognized. She had registered a company and needed to sign a few artists. Conveniently, there were still open roles in Director Irving’s new film, and she could bring so talent along.
"Our boss won’t be coming today, it’s just the two of us," Nina King said, as a seasoned veteran. "Our boss is a hugely popular actor and has so connections with Director Irving. So, seize the opportunity. Those who catch our boss’s eye will secure a spot in Director Irving’s new film."
"So, what do you want us to do?" an already sowhat famous actor asked.
"Looks, acting skills, physique," Nina King, who had been in the industry for a long ti, stated. "An actor can’t afford to be shy. Start with a striptease and I’ll consider giving the role to whoever has the best physique."
lody Thorne took a sip of a sobering drink. In her past life, she had only been focused on watching Jared Quinn and hadn’t paid much attention to other n. But now, she found them quite appealing.
"You have to dance and make our fine lady here laugh too," Nina King said, pointing to lody Thorne beside her, obviously doing it on purpose.
lody Thorne just smiled, staring expressionlessly ahead.
One by one, the n walked past her, trying their best to amuse her. She kept the sa interested expression for each, examining their faces and then their bodies, but had no further comnt.
"Okay, stop," lody Thorne said. "Director Irving’s new film needs a muscle guy. Whoever has the best body and is confident, it’s yours."
The mont she finished speaking, they all took off their shirts,
except for one, the actor with a lot of dark spots.
"Not taking it off?" lody Thorne looked over with a faint smile.
Harvey Lowell stood up, gazing at her with disdain and contempt. After a struggle, he finally and slowly took off his shirt.
lody Thorne walked over, looking him up and down as if admiring a big gorilla. She lifted her hand slightly; Harvey Lowell thought she was going to touch him and imdiately stepped back.
She almost couldn’t suppress a sarcastic laugh. "Alright, it’s him."
At least so actors maintain a moral baseline.
"That simple?" Nina King was a bit annoyed. He had the most scandals, no agency would sign him.
"Yeah," lody Thorne turned and pointed to two more people. "Sign them too."
One by one, the n walked out of the private room. So who weren’t chosen left shirtless, feeling unsatisfied as they stord out.
Quite a few people glanced curiously at the private room they were in, sensing won inside.
