Until all the things on the table were smashed, turning the once luxurious private room into a ss, Jared Quinn finally reached out and pulled lody Thorne back into his arms.
"Do you care?" he asked lightly.
The eyes of several n in the room simultaneously focused on lody Thorne; it was the first ti they had seen such a violent woman.
Did she care? How could she not care? In her past life, she died without knowing why, and besides Timmy, she cared especially about those involved in this matter.
lody Thorne turned her head to avoid Jared Quinn’s gaze, lying with her eyes wide open, "I don’t care."
They had a deal now; even if she cared, she couldn’t turn hostile at this mont.
"I have sothing to tell you," Harold Chapman spoke, "After taking Ivy away that day, she went crazy. We couldn’t find the reason or detain her, so after twenty-four hours, I had her sent to the ntal hospital."
ntal illnesses cannot be detected; she could be faking it, or she might really have gone mad.
"She’s crazy?" A hint of coldness flashed in lody Thorne’s clear eyes.
Ivy had always been good at acting; how could she just go crazy? Only by being hard on herself could she avoid being locked up.
"Yes, we can’t detain her for now."
Truly ruthless.
"Sis, sis," Leon Rivers trembled slightly as he sat back on the sofa, looking at her with lingering fear, "You claim you don’t care, so why react so strongly?"
lody Thorne threw another wine glass over, "I think doctors like you who should be the ones coming out of a ntal hospital, should take care of those patients."

After all, wasn’t he a celebrated doctor?
"Such a buzzkill," lody Thorne gave Leon Rivers a sidelong glance, "Don’t let see you next ti. If I do, it won’t be just a bottle you’ll be dodging."

lody Thorne turned to leave, suddenly stepping on a shard and falling to the left, where Titus Quinn was sitting. He reached out in ti to steady her arm, "Careful, sis."
Slightly touched on the arm, though it was her fault, lody Thorne instinctively recoiled. She barely knew anyone here, but she had t Titus Quinn only once or twice in her past life.
Lately, she had heard he’d fallen out with Jared Quinn, and once when Jared was out, he was seriously injured and almost died at Titus’s hands.
She must stay away,
"Be careful, did you hurt your foot?" Jared Quinn leaned down in front of her, grasping her ankle, intending to take off her shoes to check.
"No, I didn’t get hurt," lody Thorne pulled her foot back slightly.
Jared Quinn, unyielding, removed her heels, checked her sole, and after confirming all was well, put her shoe back on, half-supporting her as they left.
The n in the room hadn’t yet responded.
"Damn, is that still the ruthless, won-avoiding Jared?"
He actually squatted in front of a woman, took off, and put back on her shoe.
"He’s been completely sold out by that woman and remains willing," Harold Chapman sneered; it’s hardly ever good when a man has a weakness. He seed way too invested in that woman.
Titus Quinn turned his head to look at the figure leaving by the door, the dim light casting a shadow over him, making him seem even more somber and elusive.
