After leaving the bar, lody Thorne walked over to Jared Quinn’s car and kicked the front of it a few tis.
"What’s with the tantrum?" Jared Quinn grabbed her arm.
lody Thorne turned her head and started hitting the man’s chest in a fit of anger, clearly upset, both furious and deeply aggrieved, and she shouted at Jared Quinn, "How could you all be so selfish? Just because you want a child, you find a woman to have one. What’s the point of secretly having one done? Did you ever consider how that girl feels?
Back then, she was only sixteen and had never been with a man. How could you let soone extract sothing from inside her?
Jared Quinn stood in place, looking down at her, letting her punches fall as he seriously said, "Because back then, you weren’t there."
If she had been there four years ago, he wouldn’t have tacitly allowed Leon Rivers to do such a thing.
"What do you an by ’I wasn’t there’? Back then, it was her, and it felt worse than being violated.
"You’re all bastards, every single one of you. Even just hooking up with a random woman would be preferable." She kicked Jared Quinn’s leg randomly, fists landing on his chest.
Even though she knew it wouldn’t hurt him, she still wanted to vent, to vent on Jared Quinn.
"Does lody Thorne know what she’s saying?" Jared Quinn’s deep-set features were taut with tension. This woman wasn’t pushing him away for the first or second ti.

Originally, she wanted to see how capable lody Thorne really was, but she didn’t expect her to even handle Ivy. The struggle between the sandpiper and the clam only benefits her.
