Ever since the collaboration with Quinn Corporation fell through, the Elms family eagerly pursued a partnership with the Thorne Family.
"Master Caleb." Terence Thorne imdiately stood up from the sofa and walked towards the door, "What brings you here? Please, co in quickly."
Caleb’s face remained unchanged, but his free large hand slowly lifted, bringing along lody Thorne’s hand with it, pointing directly at Terence Thorne’s brow.
It was raining, and at first, Gareth Thorne couldn’t clearly see what was in lody’s hand. But as her hand rose higher and then stopped, Gareth finally saw that it was a gun, a black gun.
The barrel was currently aid at his brow.
"Ah, help!" Gareth Thorne suddenly ducked down.
Caleb’s hand was already guiding lody Thorne to pull the trigger.
With a "bang," the bullet flew over Terence Thorne’s head and hit the wall behind him.
Terence Thorne’s eyes rolled up, and he almost fainted.
"Consider it a lesson on how to use a gun," Caleb casually pressed down lody Thorne’s hand. "I’ll give you this handgun. If anyone dares to trouble you in the future, feel free to use it."
lody Thorne looked down at the gun in her hand. From the beginning, she knew Caleb wasn’t simple, so after working with him, she wanted to shake him off, but he was like a stubborn adhesive. The more she tried to peel him off, the more he stuck to her.
"Are you going or not?" lody Thorne no longer had ti to care about this. She pointed the gun at Terence Thorne.
Terence Thorne finally snapped out of it. It wasn’t a dream; soone really had shot at him.
"I’ll go, I’ll go, just put the gun down, put it down." Terence Thorne stood up, nearly squatting back down again.
"Let’s go," Caleb gestured with his chin.
The car drove away.
Three minutes later, Jared Quinn’s car arrived. Inside was nothing but the terrified Mrs. Thorne.
"Where are they?" A terrifying storm brewed on Jared Quinn’s handso face.
"Hos...hospital, they... they have guns..."

Terence Thorne had a blood transfusion. After testing, it was found that Terence Thorne’s blood type was the sa as Finn Thorne’s.

"Go change your clothes," Caleb handed the clothes he had just bought to her.
"Why are you teaching to use a gun?" lody Thorne looked at Caleb as if he were a stranger.
"You taught how to be a normal person after all. Teaching you to use a gun is like teaching you how to use tactics. If you think I’m up to no good, I have nothing to explain," Caleb turned and left.
His role was that simple, teaching her ruthlessness and strategies.
lody Thorne felt cold all over. She held the clothes in her hand, wanting to go into the ward to change. In the blink of an eye, she was pulled into an embrace.
A warm embrace, like a layer of flas on his body, dispelling the cold around her.
lody Thorne looked up at the face brewing an intense storm, "Ja... Jared."
"How did you end up like this? lody Thorne, can’t you just behave?" Jared Quinn’s eyes swept over her drenched body, the chill in his eyes almost freezing everything around!
"Cold..." lody Thorne snuggled closer into his arms, "It’s obviously because you ca too late."
Jared Quinn didn’t know whether he was infuriated or amused by her words, wanting to scold her but couldn’t bring himself to do it.
"Go change your clothes," Jared Quinn pushed the clothes into her hand, while the ones she held were thrown out the window.
