lody Thorne kicked it out of the stall, and the "ow" was particularly loud. The cat rolled to the feet of two won.
"Ah, it’s a cat, a cat!" one of the won scread. "Quick... run!"
"What are you afraid of?" the other woman sneered, kicked the cat away from her feet, and put away the gun in her hand. She looked at the half-open stall, from where they could see almost half of the space, but saw no one inside.
"Let’s go."
The footsteps of the two won gradually faded away. lody Thorne felt like she had just survived a disaster. After getting out of the stall, she splashed so cold water on her face and quickly left.
"Where have you been?" Nina King had been looking for her for ages. "The director inside already agreed to the investnt from lody Thorne for that play. They also let a few newcors from their company join the cast as supporting characters, just below the third and fourth lead roles. That’s already quite good; they have a high presence on screen."
"Nina, I have sothing to deal with. Go handle the director for first. If there’s a need to sign anything, sign it for . I have so urgent matters," lody Thorne spoke hastily, her eyes searching for the booth where Jared Quinn was.
"? Are you kidding? How can I sign for you?" Nina King looked bewildered.
Damn, this must be the pinnacle of trusting soone, even letting them sign your na. Wouldn’t her big boss turn around and fire her?
"No, go quickly," lody Thorne gave Nina a few pushes, signaling her to leave.
Nina King remained silent...
They weren’t even family or anything, yet lody trusted her like this. It was strange, Nina thought, her nose tingling a little.
Having been in the entertainnt industry for so long, she’d experienced all kinds of shady dealings. lody Thorne was the first person to trust her and treat her so well.

She walked over to the front desk. "I’m Jared Quinn’s kept woman. He asked to bring sothing over. Can you take there?"
The woman at the front desk, hearing she was Jared Quinn’s kept woman, looked at her with disdain. "She took out a key from the drawer. "Let’s go."
These days, as long as a man has money, who knows how many won he might keep?
lody Thorne followed the attendant. When she reached Jared Quinn’s floor, she opened her wallet.
With a "whoosh," a lot of money fell out.
"My money," lody Thorne crouched down to pick it up, and the attendant in front stopped and turned around to see red bills covering the floor, estimated to be over ten thousand.
"Being kept must be profitable, huh," the attendant said in a cold, sarcastic tone, crouching down disdainfully to help pick up the money.
The more she picked up, the more envious she beca. Her two months’ salary was only this much, yet she had to stand all day, while this woman had so much just as pocket money!
"It is," lody Thorne replied, unfazed and collected the money. Her gaze fell on the attendant. "Your uniform is quite nice. Jared Quinn likes watching won take off corporate attire at night. Why don’t you sell it to ?"
The attendant glanced at her uniform. Such work attire could be bought for three hundred yuan at their workplace.
"Alright, sell a set. I’ll give you five thousand," lody Thorne took out half from her wallet. "Let’s go. I can wear it to et Jared Quinn."
The attendant was already bewildered by the sight of the stack of money in her hand. This was more than her monthly salary, especially just for selling her a set of clothes.
