"Alright, alright," the waiter imdiately led lody Thorne to the staff quarters to fetch a new set of clothes for her.
lody Thorne changed into the clothes and tossed the money to the waiter. "You can go back to the front desk. Don’t follow ; I want to give him a surprise. You just need to tell the room number."
"1506."
lody Thorne walked out of the hotel staff quarters, entered the elevator, holding the employee badge she had taken from the waiter.
In front of room 1506, lody Thorne saw the two won who had appeared in the restroom earlier co out, looking sowhat flustered.
"What’s going on?" One of the won spoke impatiently, looking around cautiously. "Our people have been waiting so long. Why didn’t you act just now? What are you hesitating for?"
"It’s not that," the other woman gritted her teeth. "I just feel sothing’s off. Haven’t you noticed everything we’re doing today has gone too smoothly? Besides, Jared Quinn has always been so cautious. How could he be so calm today, even letting us sit beside him without driving us away?"
"Are you stupid? If he drives us away, how can we act?" One of the won spoke impatiently, grabbing the other woman’s arm. "Co on, go inside; we must act. If we don’t, Crestfall won’t let us off!"
lody Thorne, wearing a waiter’s uniform, walked out from behind the stairs, intending to head to that room when suddenly her arm was grabbed from behind.
"Who?" Before lody Thorne could turn around, her mouth was covered with tape, and two n swiftly dragged her downstairs.
Gunshots rang out from the hotel room, and quickly, everyone withdrew in chaos.
"Got her?" Titus Quinn stared at an old painting before him, speaking calmly. Unlike Jared Quinn, his deep eyes carried vengeance and a mad ruthlessness.
"Got her, already taken to the tunnel in the back mountain."
Titus Quinn’s fingers slowly caressed the painting on the wall, his eyes filled with sorrow. "After so long, he finally has evidence against him, can finally taste the bitterness of loss. He brought this upon himself. Living high above, he never understood how hard life was for those he oppressed."
Turning around, the pain in his eyes disappeared. "Go."
"Yes."
Tied up in the tunnel, lody Thorne watched the people around her burying sothing in the middle of the passage. The sll from those packages was very strong.

"Screech—" The sound of tire friction against the ground echoed around her.
Those people had buried the last package, and a wire was wound around lody Thorne’s body, the tir also installed upon her.

"Hahaha," they glanced outside quickly and exited through the other end of the tunnel.
As the car door closed, Harold Chapman and Leon Rivers followed behind Jared Quinn. In the dark tunnel, they could see lody Thorne bound in the center, her body wrapped in the tir and wires.
"Jared, they planted explosives," Harold Chapman and Leon Rivers stopped simultaneously, faces changing drastically.
Jared Quinn’s dark gaze locked onto the woman bound inside, through the dimness of the tunnel.
