It felt like I hadn’t just lost face, but had lost it completely.
"No," Jared Quinn said, slightly furrowing his brow. It was clear he hadn’t expected the first thing his woman would be concerned about was whether he had lost face, rather than regretting the possibility that there might not be a child between them.
