"Coffee for the president," Wendy Lynch entered from outside, carrying a cup of coffee and a glass of milk, placing them on Jared Quinn’s desk. "The milk is for sister-in-law."
"Thank you," lody Thorne took a sip and began to scrutinize Wendy Lynch.

"Miss Lynch, if it’s yours, it’s yours. We didn’t say anything. Why are you so agitated? It looks like just a regular coffee bag—is there a reason to get so worked up?"
It almost scared her to death; a person not knowing might think it was poison.
Wendy Lynch’s expression worsened at the employee’s words, her hands hidden in her sleeves subtly shaking. "What nonsense are you spouting? Want to report your negligence at work to my cousin?"
The employee glanced at her again, then turned and left.

Half an hour later, Leon Rivers entered the office.
"How’s it going?" lody Thorne imdiately stood up, "Leon Rivers, do you have a way to save him?"
Leon Rivers touched his chin, his peripheral vision caught the man behind her as he nodded understandingly. "Don’t worry, sister-in-law, as long as Leon Rivers is here, nothing is unsolvable."
"You an he can be saved?" lody Thorne looked at him skeptically. After all, so many people said he couldn’t be saved, yet Leon Rivers said he could.
"Yes, yes," Leon Rivers’ eyes dodged.
How could it be? Others had no ans, let alone him. Doctors didn’t differ much.
"So when will he get better?" lody Thorne looked at him.
"Well, it might take so ti to recover," Leon Rivers’ eyes dodged, clearly making him lie.
"Don’t worry," Jared Quinn interrupted their conversation at a fitting mont. "Hungry? Want to grab sothing to eat?"
"Not hungry," she had no appetite now, only wanted to see how Hans Montrose was doing.
