Ashton Young’s long fingers slid towards her collarbone, his fingertips gliding along. "It’s not impossible for to let you go, I can also make the nurse leave, but you must close your eyes and rest well. Don’t foolishly think of hurting yourself to degrade yourself, otherwise, you should know the consequences. I, Ashton Young, am neither a good man nor a gentleman."
His notorious reputation was well-known.
"Have you heard clearly?"
Kiki Sutton glared at him, her lip already bitten to the point of bleeding. Ashton Young’s eyes darkened slightly, and his fingers pried open the spot she was biting, hooking onto her little tongue, and he casually uttered a word, "Suck."
Kiki Sutton’s teeth clamped down on his finger, biting with all her might.
"Truly disobedient," Ashton Young’s handso features held a faint trace of wickedness.
The two female nurses quickly exited the ward, their faces red and hearts racing.
With no more sounds or movents inside, lody Thorne finally felt at ease. Although Ashton Young was not a good person, he was at least the only one who could keep Kiki Sutton in check.
"Bang," with a single kick, lody Thorne slamd open Hans Montrose’s room door.
The person inside sat there, hands clasped, raising his head without a hint of guilt over Kiki Sutton’s situation.
"Hans Montrose," lody Thorne walked over and slapped him hard across the face without holding back any courtesy.
The numbing sensation in her palm reminded her of how much force she had just used.
"It was you, wasn’t it?" lody Thorne looked at the man before her with disappointnt. "You were the one targeting Kiki Sutton. She ran out of the hospital in a frenzy that day because of you, because you were chasing her. That’s why she got into an accident. You were the one who tried to drug her that day, right? Because she was caring for you here and found out about your secret, that’s why you made a move against her?"
Hans Montrose took the heavy slap to the face and looked up at lody Thorne, just silently staring at her.
Because everything she said was true. It was indeed because of him; he did all those things, but the only thing he desired was lody Thorne.
Even with everything laid out like that, there was still no guilt on Hans Montrose’s face.
"When did you beco a person who would stop at nothing?" lody Thorne’s heart turned cold. "Hans Montrose, I don’t care if your illness is real or fake, but I can’t tolerate being lied to, not even by you. From now on, we go our separate ways, nothing to do with each other."
"Go our separate ways?" Hans Montrose sneered, looking at her with amusent. "Does that an everyone who ever lied to you will also have to go their separate ways?"
lody Thorne lifted her chin. "Yes."
What she could least tolerate was being deceived by others.
Jared Quinn’s eyes subtly shifted.
"What about him?" Hans Montrose’s finger pointed in Jared Quinn’s direction. "He knew everything from the start, knew I would target Kiki Sutton but didn’t tell you. Isn’t that a form of deception? He obviously had Leon Rivers examine my illness and concluded it was untreatable, yet let Leon Rivers tell you it was treatable. Isn’t that a form of deception?"
Hans Montrose’s voice, though light, pierced her heart.
lody Thorne turned her head to look at the man standing behind her, her eyes narrowing slightly in disbelief. "You knew from the beginning?"
"lody," Jared Quinn lowered his head, eting her gaze directly with an indescribable complexity,
he rely hoped she would no longer blindly trust Hans Montrose and see the truth for herself.
