The door tightly shut, Jared Quinn had already dressed, his handso features displaying limitless murderous intent as he eyed the rose on the bed.
"Set up?" Jared’s large hand clamped around Wendy Lynch’s throat, anger and murderous intent clouding his vision.
Fear flashed in Wendy’s eyes, her air supply cut off, leaving no doubt that Jared could easily end her life now.

Leon Rivers, who arrived upon hearing the news, stopped Jared’s actions, "Leave this woman to . You should go after your wife; she just left with Caleb. I’m afraid she might do sothing impulsive and harm the baby because of this."
Jared thought of lody Thorne, who left without saying a word upon witnessing this, feeling an invisible claw grip his heart, drawing fresh blood.

Especially thinking of his woman witnessing this and possibly harming the baby, he could barely restrain from killing Wendy on the floor!
