Cain remained motionless inside Cornelia’s dream space for a long mont.

The mories continued drifting around him endlessly like flowing crimson fragnts, every scene carrying warmth that felt painfully genuine. Cornelia’s emotions toward him saturated the entire dream until the very air itself seed filled with affection and trust.

And Cain—

Still could not alter any of it.

Not through force.

Not through manipulation.

Not through authority.

Every attempt only strengthened the dream further, making the emotional connection even deeper than before.

"...Impossible..."

The word echoed quietly inside his mind.

Because this should not happen.

Even weakened, even reborn into this body, his understanding remained that of an Overgod. Dreams, mories, emotional constructs, all of those things should have been simple to manipulate for soone like him.

Yet the blood pact—

Continued resisting him perfectly.

Not only resisting.

Correcting itself.

Strengthening itself.

Like a living thing protecting its existence.

Cain stared at Cornelia’s sleeping figure inside the cocoon one final ti.

Her long curly brown hair drifted softly around her curled body while her peaceful expression remained unchanged, completely unaware of the chaos currently happening inside her own dream.

"...This damned thing..."

Cain finally withdrew his hand.

Instantly, the dream shattered apart.

The mory space vanished.

And the real world returned.

The loud celebration of the vampire race reached his ears again, though now it sounded distant and muffled compared to the thoughts running through his mind.

Cain stood silently before Cornelia’s cocoon.

His expression remained calm.

But internally—

His thoughts were anything but calm.

Faith’s dream resisted him.

Cornelia’s dream resisted him even harder.

And now—

Only one remained.

Ivira.

Cain slowly turned his gaze toward the final cocoon.

Among the three sisters, Ivira always carried herself differently. Her sharp eyes, short white hair, cold personality, and constant possessiveness made her stand out even before everything that happened recently.

Faith wore her emotions openly.

Cornelia buried hers deeply.

But Ivira—

Ivira was difficult.

Even Cain found her harder to understand sotis.

"...Maybe yours is different..."

He muttered internally.

Because at this point, he genuinely hoped at least one of them would be manageable.

At least one dream.

At least one mory structure.

Sothing he could still control.

Cain stepped closer.

The cocoon reacted slightly as he approached, pale crimson waves spreading slowly across its surface. Compared to the others, Ivira’s cocoon emitted colder blood mana, sharper and denser, carrying a pressure that felt almost prideful.

Cain inhaled quietly.

Then placed his hand against it.

Imdiately—

The world dissolved again.

Darkness spread.

Then slowly—

A new dream ford around him.

Cain opened his eyes.

And imdiately froze.

Because unlike the others—

Ivira’s dream was not soft.

It was not peaceful.

It was not emotionally warm from the beginning.

The first thing Cain saw—

Was blood.

A younger Ivira stood alone inside a ruined courtyard surrounded by shattered weapons and broken bodies. Her white hair was ssy, her expression furious, her hands trembling as blood dripped from them.

She looked younger.

Smaller.

Lonelier.

And then—

Cain appeared.

Not dramatically.

Not heroically.

He simply walked toward her calmly while everyone else avoided her.

Ivira looked at him.

And the mont she did—

Everything changed.

The atmosphere softened instantly.

The rage in her expression disappeared.

The loneliness faded.

Cain stood beside her quietly while the dream emphasized one thing repeatedly.

He stayed.

While others feared her.

While others avoided her.

While others whispered behind her back—

Cain remained beside her.

"...What..."

Cain frowned slightly.

Another mory appeared.

Ivira arguing violently with nobles.

Cain standing beside her again.

Another.

Ivira losing control during training.

Cain calming her down.

Another.

Ivira pushing everyone away.

Cain refusing to leave.

Another.

Ivira sitting silently at night pretending not to care while secretly waiting for Cain to visit her.

Another.

Cain placing a blanket around her shoulders.

Another.

Cain helping her train.

Another.

Cain shielding her from punishnt.

Another.

Cain looking directly into her eyes while telling her he trusted her.

"...I said that once because she was about to attack soone..."

Yet the dream transford it into sothing deeply emotional again.

Cain watched silently as the mories continued flowing.

Unlike Faith’s explosive devotion or Cornelia’s deep emotional attachnt, Ivira’s dream centered around sothing else entirely.

Acceptance.

The mories painted Cain as the only person who truly accepted her completely.

Her anger.

Her possessiveness.

Her violence.

Her pride.

Everything.

To Ivira—

Cain was the single existence who never abandoned her no matter how difficult she beca.

And because of that—

Her attachnt felt terrifyingly absolute.

Another mory unfolded.

Ivira standing protectively in front of Cain while injured.

Cain treating her wounds gently afterward.

Another.

Ivira threatening others for insulting him.

Cain sighing helplessly but smiling afterward.

Another.

Ivira asking if he hated her.

Cain touching her head quietly.

The mory exploded emotionally afterward like a scene from so tragic romance.

"...This is ridiculous..."

Cain imdiately acted again.

He reached toward the dream structure directly this ti without hesitation.

No testing.

No caution.

He imdiately targeted the emotional anchors tying Ivira’s attachnt to him.

The dream trembled.

For a brief second—

Success.

The emotional intensity weakened slightly.

Ivira’s expression beca colder.

More distant.

Cain narrowed his eyes imdiately.

"...Good."

Then—

The blood pact surged again.

Violently.

Far more violently than before.

The entire dream world pulsed crimson.

And instantly—

Everything restored itself.

No.

Strengthened itself.

Now the altered mory beca even worse.

Ivira’s colder expression transford into hidden vulnerability instead, making Cain’s acceptance of her appear even more aningful than earlier.

"...Again?!"

Cain imdiately attacked another mory.

Then another.

Then another.

Each ti—

The sa result.

The blood pact corrected everything instantly.

Not only correcting—

Improving.

Enhancing.

Making the emotional connection stronger after every attempt.

Cain’s expression slowly darkened.

Because this was becoming absurd.

He increased his control further.

Overgod authority spread throughout the dream space once more, suppressing the mories directly as he attempted to rewrite the structure itself.

The dream shook violently.

Fragnts cracked apart.

The sky split.

mories distorted.

And for a mont—

The entire dream destabilized.

Cain imdiately pushed harder.

"...Break."

His will descended upon the dream like crushing pressure.

Yet the next mont—

The blood pact exploded outward.

An overwhelming warmth flooded the entire dream instantly.

Not weak.

Not passive.

But absolute.

Every broken mory reassembled itself perfectly again.

Ivira’s emotions surged harder than before.

Possessiveness.

Trust.

Dependence.

Love.

Everything crashed toward Cain endlessly through the dream space.

And then—

Sothing even worse happened.

The dream began resisting him actively now.

Not passively correcting.

Actively pushing him away.

The mories around him intensified until they almost drowned the entire space.

Cain suddenly saw countless scenes at once.

Ivira protecting him.

Ivira smiling because of him.

Ivira crying secretly because she thought he abandoned her once.

Ivira becoming violent whenever soone insulted him.

Ivira wanting to monopolize him completely.

The emotional intensity beca suffocating.

And Cain realized sothing terrifying.

Among the three sisters—

Ivira’s attachnt might actually be the strongest.

Not because she showed it more openly.

But because her entire emotional foundation revolved around him completely.

To her—

Cain was not rely soone she loved.

He was the only person who fully accepted her existence.

And the blood pact had amplified that endlessly.

"...No..."

Cain imdiately tried force again.

Harder this ti.

Far harder.

The dream shook violently beneath his authority.

But once again—

Nothing worked.

Every alteration failed.

Every suppression collapsed.

Every rewrite corrected itself imdiately.

The blood pact remained untouchable inside the dream.

Untouchable even by him.

Minutes passed.

Or perhaps longer.

Cain continued trying thod after thod relentlessly.

Yet the result never changed.

The dream simply would not yield.

Would not break.

Would not obey him.

Finally—

Cain stopped.

Silence filled the dream space again.

Ivira’s mories drifted around him peacefully, every single one reinforcing her overwhelming attachnt toward him endlessly.

Cain stared blankly at the floating mories.

Then slowly—

Disbelief appeared in his eyes again.

Not mild disbelief.

Genuine shock.

Because this was the third one.

Faith.

Cornelia.

And now—

Ivira too.

He could not alter any of them.

Not even slightly anymore.

The realization settled heavily inside him.

And for the first ti since touching the cocoons—

Cain genuinely felt shaken.

"...I can’t alter hers either..."
