Xia Chan slowly walked over to him. "Just ahead is the territory of the Holy Boi Religion. This is as far as you need to take . Chen Shuisheng, I don't know why you saved and escorted all the way ho… but I'm truly grateful. I'll rember this for the rest of my life."
Luo Xiu smiled. "Even though we're in the Danlong Ancient Mountain region, it must still be quite a distance to your ho, right?"
"Yes," Xia Chan nodded lightly. "But it's not dangerous from here on. I can get back on my own."

As the vessel shrank to the size of his palm, Xia Chan felt the support beneath her vanish, and she fell powerlessly toward the water. Luo Xiu swiftly caught her soft, pliant body in a princess carry, landing lightly on the surface.
"Which way now?"
Xia Chan quickly squird out of his arms, puffing her cheeks in annoyance as she began walking across the water. "Follow !"
The seemingly calm and empty sea was covered by an invisible formation. Without knowing the route, one could easily get lost within it. Luo Xiu followed Xia Chan as she weaved left and right, silently morizing the path.
Before long, they reached the shore and entered a dense forest. Danlong Ancient Mountain covered a vast area; though it was at sea, it wasn't an island. On a map, the mountain resembled a stranded giant dragon, its head resting on the shore while its body floated on the water. Luo Xiu and Xia Chan were currently located sowhere near the "tail" of the beast. Xia Chan had chosen this spot to enter because it was more secluded.

Xia Chan walked ahead at a asured pace, looking deeply worried. Luo Xiu followed unhurriedly behind her, also appearing concerned. The next mont, a withered figure appeared before them like a specter.
"Miss, you shouldn't have co back. But you did do one thing right… and that's bringing this boy back with you." Zhang Qiming looked at Luo Xiu with a smirk. "Chen Shuisheng. I rember that na from Lop Nor. I was planning to find you after I finished my work here, after taming Her Majesty the Empress. I never expected you to deliver yourself right to my doorstep."
Hearing the words "taming Her Majesty the Empress," Luo Xiu's eyes turned to ice. A bone-chilling killing intent erupted from him as he said coldly, "So, you're Mark's true form?"
A bizarre aura radiated from Zhang Qiming as he announced gravely, "I am Zhang Qiming, the Spirit Martial God, one of the Upper Nine Deities!"
Luo Xiu sneered. "A piece of work like you has the audacity to call yourself a god?"
