Then Percival launched himself off the ground from behind his cousins’ position, rotating his body mid-air as he brought his right leg around in a powerful kick aid directly at the side of Donovan’s face.
The blow connected solidly, and Donovan’s head whipped to the side from the impact.
But when his face turned back toward them a second later, he looked even more furious than before.
His grin had vanished, replaced by a snarl that exposed all his fangs.
All three of them imdiately engaged in a chaotic lee, Donovan fighting against Percival and both cousins simultaneously as they tried to bring down the stronger werewolf through coordinated attacks.
Elsewhere on the field , Hayley had just finished ripping through another group of duplicates when sothing fast moved in from her blind spot.
A clawed hand swiped toward her throat, but Hayley’s instincts saved her.
She caught the attacking wrist at the last possible mont and used the montum to hurl her attacker backward with significant force.
However, the figure adjusted mid-air and landed smoothly on both feet several ters away.
Hayley took in the details imdiately; this lady had orange hair, red eyes, prominent fangs, and that insufferably confident grin on her face.
"Morgenstein bitch," Hayley muttered.
Eula’s grin widened at the insult. Then she blurred away, moving so fast she seed to vanish before reappearing around the corner of the manor, heading toward the back of the house.
Hayley didn’t hesitate either. She launched herself forward in pursuit, following Eula’s path as both disappeared from the main battlefield.
Her Uncle, lvin had engaged with a tall, heavily built man who was nearly a full head taller than him. The guardian-class League mber moved with surprising speed for soone of his size, with each of his strikes carrying enough force to crater the ground when lvin dodged them.
They circled each other carefully, trading blows in a contest of raw physical power that made the air around them reverberate.
Rayleigh found himself weaving through attacks from two opponents at once; a saber-class fighter whose blade work was precise and unrelenting, and a warrior-class brawler whose fists ca at him from unpredictable angles.
He parried a slash from the saber’s blade, then imdiately ducked under a hook aid at his head from the warrior. His own sword flashed out in a counter-strike that forced both opponents to step back montarily.
But they recovered quickly and pressed forward again, working in tandem to keep him on the defensive. Rayleigh leaped backward to create distance, and both League mbers pursued in one explosive blitz.
The entire compound had erupted into chaos.
Duplicates continued dispersing into violet smoke whenever they were destroyed, only to be replaced by more pouring out from the manor.
Eduardo’s blade cut through the wave of duplicate Lucienes in a single devastating arc. Each false copy dispersed into wisps of violet smoke the mont his sword made contact.
Now, only the original remained, still positioned close beside his summon by the front of the manor.
Joe had been tracking the assault through Katarina’s scope from his distant rooftop. The mont Eduardo cleared away the duplicates and left Lucien exposed without any fakes surrounding him, Joe saw his opportunity.
And his finger moved to the trigger.
The bullet left the barrel and streaked through the air toward Lucien’s position at supersonic speed.
But Lucien’s summon reacted before the shot could connect. The figure turned his head toward the incoming projectile. In a single swift motion, its blade flashed through the air, striking and deflecting the bullet away.
Then suddenly, the ground trembled as a sudden eruption of what felt like bluish mist engulfed Lucien’s position, billowing outward in thick clouds that obscured him from view.
Eduardo’s eyes narrowed,as he watched the smoke expand and rise higher into the air.
This was beginning of the transformation as the smoke grew, rising upward toward the sky.
Then, from within that churning mass, sothing massive began to take shape.
A skeletal hand erged first, each finger as thick as a tree trunk, wreathed in strips of tattered black and red fabric.
Then another hand materialized on the opposite side, gripping an enormous blade whose seed to have been covered in the sa bluish-like energy.
When the smoke finally cleared, what stood before Eduardo was a towering monstrosity that reached fifty feet into the air.
Lucien’s summon, Emperor Nishi Imagawa in his true form. This also turned out to be the Ultimate Skill.
It was a skeletal monstrosity of bluish-gray skin, which retained the sa samurai-like armor plating he originally worry.
And within the ribcage, visible through the spaces between those massive bones, was Lucien himself. His arms were crossed as he stared down at the butler below.
Lucien appeared to be floating there, suspended in the empty space within his summon’s chest cavity.
This wasn’t a fusion or anything, it was simply one of the Emperor’s unique properties.
The summon protected its master by housing him within its body while it fought on his behalf.
Emperor Nishi Imagawa of the Fu Hua Dynasty, a ruler who had existed during the Age of Champions. History claid he had maintained his iron grip over the dynasty for decades by delving into the vilest forms of dark magic drawn from the underworld itself.
And his current form was a testant to that corruption, placing him at a level of strength that surpassed even the legendary class.
The Emperor’s skull tilted back, and a roar erupted from its gaping jaws that shook the entire compound.
Then it raised its massive blade, easily thirty feet in length and brought it crashing down toward Eduardo with devastating force.
Eduardo’s face wasn’t exactly the sa. He had features had taken on an aggressive, feral quality that belonged to a vampire in full rage. But there was more; patches of additional hair had sprouted along parts of his face and neck, giving him the partial appearance of a werewolf as well.
He raised his katana, the Kirisa, above his head and caught the descending blade of the Emperor’s sword.
The impact sent a shockwave exploding outward in all directions, the force of it so powerful that the ground cracked beneath Eduardo’s feet.
The shockwave rippled across the battlefield, and several of the ongoing fights around them montarily paused as combatants braced themselves against the force before resuming their battles.
When the pressure cleared, Eduardo was still standing in the exact sa position, his katana held steady above his head as he bore the full weight of the Emperor’s strike without being driven into the ground.
This was the power that ca from being part of that 0.1 percent. A vampire-wolf hybrid who had reached the peak of S-tier in both the warrior and saber classes simultaneously.
