Although she didn't have her usual mocking expression, her face was full of doubt, finding it hard to believe what he said.

The guard shot Chen Xuan a cold glance.
Chen Xuan didn't get angry, he took the Jade Pendant out of his pocket, "This was given to by the patriarch, just take it in and report."

The guard looked confused, not sure whether to trust him, "Wait here, I'll notify the steward."
Taking the Jade Pendant, the guard went into the estate.

Soon, a middle-aged man hurried to the entrance.

"If she knew you were visiting the Ling family, she would be very happy. I'll call her right now to have her co ho from the company imdiately."

Cheng Kai walked into the main hall to pay his respects and suddenly saw Chen Xuan sitting there too. He was montarily stunned, "What are you doing here?"

The patriarch scolded sharply, "Mr. Chen is an honored guest of the Ling family. How dare you be disrespectful! Kneel!"

Cheng Kai was so frightened that he knelt on the ground imdiately, trembling all over, his forehead oozing cold sweat.
He couldn't understand how Lin Wanxi's driver suddenly transford into an esteed guest of the Ling family.

Cheng Kai dared not act arrogant any longer, "Mr. Chen, I beg for your forgiveness, I was blind and offended you, I deserve to die..."

Cheng Kai followed Chen Xuan, heading to New Moon Entertainnt Company together.
anwhile, Lin Wanxi and Yang Leshan were still in the office anxiously waiting, fearing that Chen Xuan would cause offense to the Ling family by using force.
"I'm back." Chen Xuan walked into the office with a smile.
