"Back so soon? Did you get everything done?"
Yang Leshan eyed him suspiciously.
Lin Wanxi also looked bewildered, unsure what Chen Xuan had done on his outing.
"What do you think?"
Chen Xuan chuckled, glancing toward the door, "Why don't you co in already!"
Hmm, who could that be?
Lin Wanxi and Yang Leshan froze in surprise, both looking toward the office door.
They saw Cheng Kai slinking in with a pained, bitter smile.
"President Cheng?" Lin Wanxi exclaid.
Yang Leshan also widened her eyes, incredulous.
Cheng Kai smiled wryly, "Miss Lin, I apologize for any offense earlier."
"Is that how you apologize, standing up?" Chen Xuan barked coolly.
Cheng Kai shivered with fear and quickly knelt on the ground, "Miss Lin, please forgive my wrongdoing."

Lin Wanxi and Yang Leshan were stunned by the scene, completely taken aback.
Previously so arrogant and boisterous, how had Cheng Kai beco like a grandson before Chen Xuan?
What exactly is going on?
"Chen Xuan, what's..." Lin Wanxi stared at him, confused by the situation.
Yang Leshan kept a wry grin, feeling that Chen Xuan was an even greater enigma, totally unreadable.
Chen Xuan laughed and waved a hand, "Wanxi, I'll explain later, but how would you like to deal with him now?"
"I agreed to spare his pathetic life, but if you still feel aggrieved, I have plenty of ways to tornt him."
Hearing this, Cheng Kai nearly wet himself, knocking his head nonstop in pleading, "Miss Lin, I'm begging you, please have rcy on just this once."
Lin Wanxi felt a headache coming on; the tables really had turned!
"President Cheng, why did you insist on crossing earlier? You must speak the truth," Lin Wanxi asked coldly.
Cheng Kai dared not hesitate and confessed, "It was Du Yuzhe who made do it, he gave a cricket of amazing quality..."
He wasn't hiding anything, saying it all clearly.
Lin Wanxi nodded slightly, just as they had suspected, it was Du Yuzhe stirring trouble behind the scenes.
"Does my film crew face any more issues entering the film city for shooting?" Lin Wanxi asked with a slight smile.
"No, no problem at all! I guarantee priority access to the venue and full cooperation with the crew." Cheng Kai urgently assured.
"Then go handle it imdiately, personally escort the crew inside," Chen Xuan commanded in a cold voice.
"Yes, yes, I'll take care of it," Cheng Kai got up from the ground, slinking away reluctantly.
Lin Wanxi secretly breathed a sigh of relief, finally resolving a tough issue.
Yang Leshan impatiently asked, "Chen Xuan, how did you do it?"
"Didn't Cheng Kai claim his backing was the Ling family? How did he beco like a grandson?"
Chen Xuan smiled, "It's really a coincidence. Last ti, on my trip to the Southern Great Mountains to find the Life-restoring Grass, I happened to run into the Ling Family elder on a plane..."
He briefly explained the event.
Lin Wanxi couldn't help but shake her head and laugh, "Life is truly unpredictable! An unintended act of kindness turned out to be a huge help today."

Yang Leshan, however, didn't focus on that but stared at him incredulously, "Chen Xuan, you know dicine too?"
"Is there a problem with that? Or do you doubt my dical skills?" Chen Xuan chuckled lightly.
Lin Wanxi promptly interjected, "Shanshan, you don't need to doubt Chen Xuan on this point."
"Didn't I ntion before that Chen Xuan did our family a great favor? He healed my father's illness."
Yang Leshan looked at him with a complex expression, "I feel like you're so kind of freak!"
"You're the freak," Chen Xuan shot a glance at Yang Leshan, a pink little toy flashing through his mind.
Yang Leshan was instantly unhappy, "Chen Xuan, I didn't an to dean or insult you, so why are you calling nas?"
"You calling a freak isn't na-calling, but calling you one is? Talk about unfair," Chen Xuan chuckled.
Yang Leshan gritted her teeth, "Then tell , what makes a freak? You better say it, or I'll never let it go!"
"I won't say. I'll spare you so face," Chen Xuan smirked mischievously.
Lin Wanxi shook her head with a bitter smile, "You two just started getting along, and here you go bickering again?"
Hmph!
Yang Leshan snorted softly and said no more.
That night, back at the rented apartnt, Chen Xuan was about to sleep when Yang Leshan suddenly barged into his room.
"Yang Leshan, what are you doing here in my room at night instead of sleeping?"
"Want to sleep with ? I can't guarantee I won't do sothing in my sleep."
Chen Xuan grinned mischievously.
Yang Leshan rolled her eyes, "Spare your nonsense. Even if I lay here, you wouldn't dare touch ."

Chen Xuan smirked, "Are you provoking on purpose?"
"Better not rile up, or you'll end up on the losing end."
Yang Leshan beca even more daring, "I am provoking you. What now?"

Chen Xuan flipped Yang Leshan onto the bed and pinned her down.
The commotion was loud enough to disturb Lin Wanxi, who walked over and knocked on the door, "Chen Xuan, what are you up to in there? Can't you keep it down?"
