"Brother, you misunderstand," Iron Bone explained hurriedly. "I’m not complaining about the Boss. I just feel that Kong Tianjian hasn’t shown any loyalty or done anything significant. Isn’t the Boss being a little too generous with him?"
"The Boss’s affairs are not for us to worry about. If the Boss thinks he’s worthy, then he is worthy," Iron Heart said. "We just need to cultivate diligently. The Boss said he would have a surprise for us when he gets back. Our only job is to protect Kong Tianjian."
"Understood!" Iron Bone nodded.
Of course, Kong Tianjian, who was in his room, couldn’t hear their conversation, as he was completely imrsed in his cultivation. The thod Yang Qi had given him surprisingly didn’t involve cultivating the Dantian, but rather the Sword Heart.
To wield the sword with the body! It doesn’t seem like a Martial Arts thod at all, but practicing it feels incredibly profound. Without the cultivation notes Yang Qi left behind, I probably wouldn’t have understood any of it.
