Ronald and his companions took a wrong turn.

Or, to be more precise—they couldn't find the right path to continue.

In the whole space, the suspension bridge connected to the trees was clearly the final exit of the maze.

But from a vertical perspective, Ronald and his companion scrutinized repeatedly, unable to find a spot to jump onto the suspension bridge. This thing seed like a truth isolated from cognition, known to exist but impossible to grasp.

Catherine asked Ronald beside her:

"Ronald, have you found a way to get down?"

Ronald shook his head:

"No. Not to ntion the correct route to jump down, even the bridge below is frighteningly narrow, nearly impossible to cross."

Searching the suspension bridge within their sight.

The only thing close to the correct path was a suspension bridge barely as wide as a foot, and there was also a five to six ter vertical distance between them.

Not to ntion whether Ronald and his companion, with ordinary human strength, could jump from this suspension bridge to the correct path. Simply jumping onto this suspension bridge from another place, whether one could stand stable was also a question.

A suspension bridge as wide as a foot!

The inertia from jumping down slightly moves the body, causing a complete imdiate stumble and fall. This is definitely not a safe choice, more like a gamble with fate.

"..."

Ronald and Catherine fell into silence.

They nearly chanically descended to the topmost point above the narrow suspension bridge, following the inertia of previous actions.

However, the last two jumps were impossible to overco with physical strength.

At this ti, both of them were sowhat tired.

Ronald and Catherine sat on the suspension bridge beneath their feet, gazing at the correct path below, not too far, yet difficult to reach.

Catherine spoke:

"Ronald, do you think if we just jump down from here, we'll die?"

She looked at the ground below, actually just about several dozen ters.

The body enhanced by external spells gave a false impression that they wouldn't necessarily die by just jumping.

Ronald broke the illusion with concrete data:

"Catherine, according to actual statistics, most people faint imdiately after falling from a height above ten ters; over twenty-five ters results in a ninety percent death rate; fall from above sixty ters, and even the water surface can't save you. Even if our physique is stronger than ordinary people, but…"

Ronald looked at his feet, feeling choked for a mont:

"Those unrealistic thoughts, it's better to abandon them honestly."

"We should… hmm?"

Just as Ronald intended to persuade Catherine and find another way down, he suddenly heard the sound of clothes brushing beside him.

Turning his head, he saw Catherine was taking off her clothes.

"Hey hey hey, what are you doing!"

Ronald completely panicked, his tone jumbled.

However, the actions of the Astrology Tower Master were thodical; she took off the clothes she brought from the Infinite Negative Field, connected them piece by piece, twisted them into a rope, even tying a clever thick knot at the end.

Swish swish swish——

Catherine held the cloth rope, swung it in her hand, with a sowhat dissatisfied expression.

"Ronald, take off your clothes too."

"..."

"You're definitely crazy!" Ronald cursed, disregarding the sha and started undressing, "Of course, I'm going crazy together with you!"

Ronald handed the stripped clothes to Catherine.

She quickly connected these clothes to one end of the cloth rope as well.

These two fellows, one a big figure from Barrier Mountain, with clothes even reinforced by spells, incredibly sturdy; the other similarly strong, the clothes processed by the loyal maid Costate, robust and reliable.

Such a tied rope was swung by Catherine, making 'swish swish swish' sounds in the air, the scene comical, yet also revealing their hope at this mont.

Playing with the cloth rope in hand for a while.

Catherine felt the texture, mastering the movent completely, then stood up voluntarily.

At this mont, the girl fixed her gaze on the suspension bridge below and the correct path further away.

Catherine didn't need to explain to Ronald.

What was about to happen was predictable even for onlookers, let alone these two with their peculiar, unique tacit understanding!

"Ronald, I'm going up!"

In the next second, Catherine shouted.

Then she gathered strength and jumped forward, simultaneously swinging the cloth rope toward the spiral ladder.

The girl's figure flashed in the air, looking like a flying sparrow.

The cloth rope end thrown from her hand crossed over the suspension bridge, hung on it, and, due to the thickness of the knot, circled an arc, and headed towards the falling Catherine.

Pa!

The knot was firmly grasped by Catherine, like hope tightly held.

Swish——

With the support of force, Catherine swung on the cloth rope back and forth, like a little girl on a swing.

This was her handling thod.

If the narrow suspension bridge couldn't be landed on, then using a rope to tie it was enough, it could even beco an aid for future actions!

Yet she didn't imdiately utilize the swinging force to jump across.

Catherine maintained her position in the air, tied the two ends of the cloth rope into a secure knot, tested and ensured stability, then finally loosened her grip, using the swinging force to leap forward.

The girl lightly landed on the correct exit.

With this force, the five to six ter distance beca easily crossable, almost impossible for anything unexpected to occur.

Above, Ronald kept the scene in view, feeling sowhat moved.

Catherine could have already crossed earlier, but her staying airborne, lastly knotting the rope action was evidently to aid himself.

Otherwise, it would just be a loosely tied rope.

It might accidentally slip when Ronald jumped over.

"Hey, Ronald! It's your turn to jump!"

At this mont, Catherine, standing on the suspension bridge below, shouted, even happily waving her arms:

"Don't worry, the rope's very sturdy, just jump!"

The originally impossible chasm turned into its current form, Ronald couldn't hesitate.

He similarly shouted at Catherine, following her over.

"Wait, I'm coming!"

Ronald leaped high, grabbing the swaying cloth rope in the air, then naturally landed at Catherine's knot position.

He twisted his body to exert force, making the rope swing more vigorously.

When everything was securely assured, he aid at Catherine's direction and jumped heavily forward.

"Hmm?"

"Ha!!!"

At this mont, a serious problem erged.

The two suspension bridges horizontally intersected each other. Ronald swung over, coinciding with the direction of the correct path below.

However, in doing so, standing on top Catherine was unavoidable.

Then ca a dull thump.

The two collided like this, then rolled down the correct exit together.
