Above the sea, the battle continued.
Patricia’s fall into the water was but a small ripple in the grand sche of the battlefield.
Even after she plunged into the water.
The Barrier Mountain Wizards, attempting to assault the support unit and having lost a flying board, were directly defeated, and the battle subtly shifted amidst this tug-of-war.
However, after yet another spell confrontation.
Everything changed.
The head of the Investigation Bureau, who had just grabbed an enemy Wizard by the throat, was the first in the midst of battle to notice a change that had appeared out of nowhere.
Beneath the churning vortex of the sea below.
A massive shadow had appeared at so point.
By size alone, it was even bigger than the vortex at the center of the sea by a whole circle!
"Your Majesty, there is sothing beneath the sea!"
The head of the Investigation Bureau imdiately voiced a warning to Queen Dantrian.
Because he sensed Magic Fluctuations from the shadow, he subconsciously assud it was also the handiwork of the Barrier Mountain Wizards. After all, with their Complete Techniques cast one after another, no one could guarantee what asures the opposition might have.
However, it soon beca clear to the head of the Investigation Bureau, or rather, to most people in the battle.
That the shadow was not the doing of the enemy.
After all, both the Barrier Mountain Wizards and the defense forces of Springs were constantly on the lookout for changes in the sea below.
As opponents in the battle, this was sothing very easily noticed.

So the question arose.
What exactly was this shadow beneath the sea that was drawing ever closer to the surface? Whose handiwork was it?
Judging from the Magic Power’s increasing clarity and the shadow’s imnse size, one could tell it was not sothing an ordinary Caster could conjure.

Both sides were uncertain about the sudden ergence of this unidentified third party and what intentions they had in making a move.
However, the fluctuating battle did not affect the shadow beneath the sea.
Even though it was still night, the fierce battle cast light enough that the approaching shadow continued to grow.

Suddenly, a fiery figure burst out of the water.
Before the looming giant shadow, this human-sized figure shot towards the heavens at a terrifying speed, vanishing into the swirling clouds in the blink of an eye, rendering its appearance invisible to onlookers.
"..."
"This is impossible!"
At that mont, the man-made deity of Barrier Mountain suddenly cried out.
Unlike any Wizard or Caster at the scene, and even in the midst of competing spells with Dantrian, it couldn’t control its emotions and loudly exclaid:
"He shouldn’t be appearing here!"
"This is impossible!"
If soone had been looking closely at the artificial deity’s expression at that ti.
They would have seen its usually tightly shut crimson eyes slightly opening, revealing confusion towards reality and fear of a certain phenonon!

But before the artificial deity could take any further action.
Just a few seconds after its outburst, the spinning surface of the sea was torn apart by a trendous change.
The center of the vortex that should have been concave suddenly rose.
The streams of water that made up the spinning, overwheld by the mass surging beyond their scale, scattered weakly back into the sea like a fountain turned off during play by children.
Following that, a huge dark blue head erged from beneath the sea, with several terrifying tentacles stretching out along with the cascading water.
At that ti, even the raging Magic Fluctuations could no longer affect the direction of the sea’s currents; the monster’s imnse body anchored the previously chaotic scene as steadfastly as if it were the Sea God’s needle.
Snap——
After an unremarkable popping sound.
The seven layers of eyelids on the sea creature’s head opened in succession, revealing its house-sized eye, protected by a mbrane, enormous in scale.
The deep yellow eyeball rotated at an angle humans could not mimic.
It quickly took in all the scenes above the sea surface.
And the humans who beca the target of its gaze imdiately felt a wave of fear emanating from the depths of their souls, as if they were locking eyes with a lifeform higher up in the food chain.

Shh——
An image that did not match what people would normally imagine appeared.
After checking the situation above the sea, the monster’s first choice was not to attack the people, but instead, it directly burrowed into the water below.
Then, a special magic fluctuation surged from this sea creature.
In just a few seconds, the shadow that had been visible above the surface of the sea completely rged into the water, and the sea itself was cald by so force, as smooth as a mirror.
To try to find this monster in the water with the naked eye now would be pure fantasy.

Faced with this situation, the Wizards of Barrier Mountain and those from Springs temporarily ceased their fighting.
The mont the sea monster had surfaced.
The extent of its impact on the human psyche was imasurable.
Not to ntion its current reaction— it was an absolutely dangerous situation.

The sea monster had assessed the group of Casters engaged in battle and had gauged their abilities.
So very cleverly, it hid beneath the waters.
It did not engage the Casters head-on.
A creature of great intelligence that threatened humanity and was exceedingly dangerous—a massive sea monster.
As long as one’s brain for thinking wasn’t malfunctioning,
everyone understood that this was a common enemy threatening all of humankind.

However, for humans, rationality often does not last, especially in the midst of battle.
After just a few seconds of silence,
the gazes of Dantrian and the artificial deities t.
Without speaking a word, they almost simultaneously restarted their Spells and sent them hurtling towards their adversaries.
And with the two leaders as an example,
the other Casters who had montarily halted did not hesitate to activate their Magic Power and resu their attacks on their previous enemies. Even though so were concerned about the monster lurking in the waters below, in such a dangerous battlefield, they absolutely could not spare the attention.
At this mont, it was the other Casters who remained on land that reacted.
Because they were involved in the battle, many of them started to shift their focus toward the sea, and so even directly cast spells to probe.
After a round of probing, these Casters began to discuss:
"What in the world is that thing?"
"How would I know?"
"Didn’t you just cast a spell? Any discoveries?"
"Nothing, absolutely nothing..."
"Has that thing gone?"
"Look at this sea surface, does it look like that thing has left?"
"But my spell... I’m not staying here, if any of you wish to stay, then stay, but I’m not going to stand around watching anymore!"
Bang——
At that mont,
huge tentacles burst from the surface of the water, reaching directly towards the one who had just cast a spell.
Then, along with a few others around him, the tentacles swept them all into the depths of the sea.
"Plop..."
The surface of the water gently rippled and quickly stilled again.
Then it continued to be as quiet as a mirror.
