As Yohan carried her up the stairs on his back, her hands swayed lazily from side to side. She looked every bit asleep—but Yohan could tell she was pretending.
Her heartbeat gave her away. It was racing, far too fast for soone who was truly out cold, and pressed so close to his back, he couldn’t miss it.
’She’s probably nervous’, he thought, continuing upward without slowing.
’But if she’s awake... why am I still carrying her?’
In her drunken haze, she’d suggested it playfully, half-expecting him to laugh it off. The distance was long—longer than it looked—but Yohan had agreed without hesitation.
She expected him to get tired halfway but to her surprise, he didn’t struggle. He didn’t even breathe harder.
That alone sobered her up a little.
’He’s so strong’, she thought, her fingers shifting instinctively as one hand tightened around his chest, holding on just a bit more firmly than before.
She could feel his chest under his shirt, it felt hard and very defined. She didn’t admire n often but she couldn’t help but notice Yohan’s features.
"You said the third floor right?" Yohan asked, stepping into a hallway, lined with doors on both sides.
"Y-yeah" Cassie stuttered, a bit surprised that he knew she was awake "You can put down here,"
She stood in front of the third door, steadying her hand as she unlocked it.
"Wait here for a bit, I have to arrange a few things," she opened the door slightly and slipped in, leaving Yohan alone in the hallway.
Yohan didn’t expect her to invite him in so he was initially planning on leaving once she was inside.
’But it wouldn’t hurt to wait around...’
On the other side of the door, Cassie rested her back against it, her face was slightly red as she glanced around the slightly ssy room.
There were books and clothes scattered all over the place.
"Since when was the last ti I did a proper clean up?" she asked, her face red from embarrassnt.
It was her friend’s house and she was only staying there because of the back to back test they were having this period of the sester. That was why the place was littered with books and clothes.
She quickly began moving the things around and arranging the single room apartnt.
After she finished, it looked way better than before.
That was when she finally let Yohan in, her face still red as she did.
’Why am I feeling so nervous?’ Cassie wondered. She thought that maybe it was because she was having a boy over, even if it was just her cousin.
But that would make no sense if she really saw Yohan as just cousins.
As for Yohan he didn’t even notice all the things she was worried about, for him it didn’t look much different from his own room other than the few books scattered around.
"Wow Cassie, you must really read a lot," he said casually carrying a book from the side of the bed.
"Yeah, I’m studying literature so it’s kind of compulsory for . Plus these days it’s been one test after the other, that’s why I take every chance I have to escape,"
Yohan could finally understand why she was drinking so much, he also suspected that it was the sa reason she had been hanging out with Freddie. Maybe as another form of escape
"It’s so bad that I can hardly even sleep at night anymore," she sighed, taking out two cans of bear and placing it on the center table, while they they both sat on the floor beside it.
"Are you serious? that’s really not good for your health," Yohan replied, trying to ignore the fact that the girl was actually planning on drinking even more.
"I know, but it’s not like I can help it, especially with the current situation in the family. Without dad, and my mom can only rely on each other. I have to work hard now if I want to get a good job,"
’So that’s why she’s pushing herself so hard,’ Yohan thought to himself. He could tell that Cassie really ant what she was saying, and the fact that she was speaking to him so freely made him feel a little warm inside.
It didn’t matter if it was only because she had no one else to talk to, Yohan smiled softly.
"Well you can also rely on ,"
His words stunned her for a mont. She never realized just how competent her cousin was until now. He was really an ideal man. He was kind, strong, with money and good looks. He was like one of those mysterious hot guys in the books she read.
And looking back it wasn’t always like this. It was like he suddenly woke up one morning and beca hot.
"Yohan what happened to you, you changed a lot,"
"So did you, you’re not the sa tiny girl that stands by the corner whenever she cos to visit," he said with a chuckle.
Cassie also let out a small laugh, she could rember how shy she was whenever they visited. That ti she couldn’t even say a word to him, or anyone outside her parents for that matter.
’But she really has changed’ Yohan thought as he scanned her amazing body, it wasn’t like this when they were younger.
Her crop top was exposing part of her lower boobs, and Yohan was trying his possible best not to get caught staring.
’Why does she wear such revealing clothes when she’s just a virgin?’ he wondered. All these years he always thought his cousin was so kind of slut, not knowing she was a book worm.
But now that he knew, she beca even hotter in his eyes.
"Y-Yohan... can I ask you for a favor?" Cassie asked hesitantly.
"What is it?" he wondered.
"It’s nothing major, I just need a review on sothing I’m working on. It’s a school project,"
"Sure, why not" he replied
