"Let her in," Shin nodded to Olvia.
He was genuinely curious about what Doflamingo was planning. Was this so kind of move against him?
Hearing Shin's command, Olvia imdiately brought Monet over.
When Monet stood before Shin, she looked visibly nervous. This version of her was different from the one in the original story. Her hands and feet had been modified into bird wings and claws, but this Monet was fully human.

Shin looked at Monet calmly. Although she was quite beautiful, Shin wasn't the type to be stunned speechless just by a pretty face.

Monet didn't leave and said nervously to Shin, "Captain Shin, the young master has ordered to stay here with you for the ti being."
"Oh? And what's this about? Is Doflamingo trying to plant a spy in my crew?" Shin's eyes narrowed.
"No, Captain Shin, please don't misunderstand! I am only here to act as a liaison, in case you have any instructions for him."
Monet quickly said. She knew that if she didn't explain well, she might not even be able to keep her life.
"Is that really all?" Shin asked, a smile playing on his lips. It seed Doflamingo's motives were more complex than that.
"Yes, that's all, I swear." A shiver ran down Monet's spine.
'Damn it, did young master just send here to die?' Monet thought, gritting her teeth.
Originally, Monet had been fiercely loyal to Doflamingo, believing he had what it took to beco the Pirate King. But seeing him act so subserviently to Shin Uzumaki had left her deeply disappointed.
Now, that disappointnt was turning into resentnt. Doflamingo had sent her here with the implicit mission to seduce Shin Uzumaki.
Although Shin Uzumaki was very handso, he was also very dangerous. If her true purpose was discovered, she knew it would be a dead end.
Monet didn't believe for a second that his good looks ant he was rciful. No pirate was.

Monet breathed a sigh of relief. At least there was no imdiate danger. As long as she was safe for now, she could figure sothing out later. If she could survive today, getting through tomorrow shouldn't be too hard.
But being forced to work as a maid? That really stung her pride.

Still, for the sake of her life, Monet endured it. Her sister was still in Doflamingo's hands. If she really died, she couldn't rest in peace. It wasn't that she feared death for herself, but she worried about what would happen to her sister, Sugar, without anyone to protect her.
