It wasn't until the explosive eggs had fallen quite low that the Mist ninja finally recognized what they were looking at.
"Explosive eggs!"
"It's Yatagarasu!"
"It's Rasa!"
"Enemy attack!"
One Mist ninja scread at the top of his lungs, instantly pulling every eye upward.
Even without the shout, plenty of others had already spotted the white dots plumting from the sky.
Tension swept through the entire lakeside in a heartbeat.
Just monts ago so of them had boldly claid they weren't afraid even if Rasa ca personally—this was their ho field, they could shoot the eggs down mid-air.
But now that the mont had arrived, every single one of them felt their nerves tighten.
Extrely tense.
"Prepare to intercept!"
"Watch every direction!"
The Mist ninja surrounding the massive lake snapped into full alert.
"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet!"
Multiple Mist ninja ford seals at once.
The next mont, enormous water dragons erupted from the lake, soaring skyward to smash into the falling explosive eggs.
"Boom!"
A massive explosion rang out.
One water dragon shattered instantly, spraying countless droplets in every direction.
But that was only the first.
More than a dozen followed behind it.
At Rasa's command, Yatagarasu descended a little lower.
"Magnet Release: Gold Dust Spears!"
Dozens of razor-sharp gold dust spears ford, hovering around him.
With a single thought, they shot downward.
Accelerated by gravity, they gained terrifying speed.
Faster than the explosive eggs and far more nurous, they spread across a huge area—perfect cover for the real payload.
If the Mist wanted to stop the eggs, they would have to pay a much heavier price.
"It's useless!"
"No matter how many attacks you throw, it won't work!"
"You're just one man, Rasa. With all of us here we can definitely hold you off!"
"And reinforcents are already on the way!"
"If you dare co down here, today will be your last!"
One Mist ninja looked up and shouted mockingly at Rasa.
"Rasa, you really think one man can raid our entire army?"
"Co down and fight if you've got the guts!"
Most eyes stayed locked on Rasa high above.
No one noticed the invisible figure rapidly approaching the lake's surface.
"Splash!"
The chaleon plunged into the water.
Riding the current, it slipped deep into the lake and sank straight to the bottom of the dam.
A figure suddenly appeared—Pakura.
She quickly pulled out a huge stack of explosive tags and began sticking them rapidly across the base of the dam.
Soon the entire bottom section was covered in a dense layer.
Only then did so Mist ninja finally sense sothing wrong underwater.
"Sothing's off!"
"There's movent in the lake!"
"Rasa's creating a diversion—their target is the dam!"
A ninja shouted in alarm.
Imdiately, over a dozen figures dove into the water.
"Soone's at the dam base!"
"It's Pakura!"
"Kill her!"
The Mist ninja already hated Pakura with a burning passion. Realizing they'd been tricked and that she was sabotaging their crucial dam made their fury explode.
So ford hand seals.
Others ordered the ferocious predator fish in the lake to attack.
The entire lake turned into complete chaos.
All focus shifted to Pakura.
But Pakura remained perfectly calm.
She kept placing tags until the very last one.
"Detonate!"
She triggered the final tag at the end of the chain.
Then she pulled Hirakarei off her back and poured a massive amount of chakra into it.
"Hirakarei, Release!"
An enormous chakra sphere suddenly materialized.
"BOOM!"
A thunderous explosion erupted underwater.
The terrifying force spread violently in every direction.
It was like an underwater tsunami. The entire lake surface shook violently.
Huge volus of water surged toward the center, then shot upward before crashing back down.
A massive whirlpool ford in the middle of the lake.
But the Mist ninja's hatred for Pakura ran too deep.
Even in this chaos, several of them kept chasing her—and actually closed in.
"Pakura! Die!"
Their eyes were bloodshot with rage.
At that exact mont—
Pakura's figure vanished into thin air.
Not just her body—her presence disappeared completely.
The Mist ninja froze.
"What happened?"
"Where is she?"
"Where did she go?"
One ninja still underwater suddenly showed pure terror.
Hirakarei's effect had ended, but the explosions hadn't stopped.
They were only getting stronger.
"Explosive tags!"
"There are tons of explosive tags at the dam base!"
"The Sand Village wants to blow up the dam!"
His comrade shouted urgently, "Then hurry up and clear the rest! The dam cannot be destroyed! This lake is our greatest advantage!"
The ninja tried to swim toward the base.
But he was grabbed.
The other man gave a bitter smile.
"It's too late!"
"Run if you want to live, or we'll die in the blast too."
"The Sand army must already be moving."
"We should save our strength and fight them to the death!"
A chain of explosions rang out—faster and louder with each second.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
The lake surface kept erupting.
Finally, it reached the breaking point.
"BOOOOOOM!"
With a deafening roar, the dam collapsed.
Without the dam to hold it back, the water in the massive lake surged downward like a raging flood—turning into a violent torrent, like a river after a catastrophic storm.
The lake's water level dropped at a visible speed.
The floodwaters roared forward like a monstrous beast.
"Help!"
"The dam broke!"
The areas downstream were completely subrged. So Mist ninja didn't even have ti to react before the imnse force slamd into them, sweeping them away forever.
The entire Kirigakure army fell into total chaos.
The Sunagakure forces, who had been waiting outside for a long ti, heard the commotion and knew the mont had co.
"Kill!"
"Charge!"
"Slaughter every last Mist ninja!"
"Crush Kirigakure!"
The hatred between the two villages had already reached a terrifying peak on this battlefield.
There would be no rcy.
No sympathy.
Only pure hatred and bloodthirsty killing intent.
The Mist army was instantly thrown into an overwhelming disadvantage.
Yagura's face turned extrely ugly.
"Soone co quickly!"
"Stabilize the troops! Send word to Konoha requesting imdiate support!"
