Yagura's voice bood across the gates of Sunagakure, shaking the desert air.
Every nearby Sand ninja snapped to attention.
"Who the hell is yelling out there?!"
"They just straight-up called the Kazekage by na? Ballsy bastard!"
"Who's got the guts?!"
Dozens of Sand shinobi rushed over. The second they saw Yagura leading a squad of Mist elite, their faces went pale.
For regular Sand ninja, Yagura was terrifying—the Mizukage who had crushed Jinpachi and Fuguki, the perfect jinchuriki who wielded the Six-Tails like a weapon.
"Soone get the Kazekage—now!"
Yagura saw the panic on their faces and smirked. The Mist's humiliating defeat still burned in his chest, and those articles in the Ninja World Big Events Weekly had only made it worse. He was here to vent every ounce of that rage.
"Rasa! Co out and die!"
"Too scared to show your face? Then I'll just level your whole damn village!"
Right then, a Mist ninja looked up and shouted.
"Lord Mizukage—above us!"
Yagura's head snapped skyward.
High overhead, Yatagarasu hovered, massive wings beating. A long string of white explosive eggs dropped straight toward them.
Yagura's pupils shrank.
The Mist shinobi around him went white with terror.
"It's Yatagarasu!"
"Those are its explosive eggs! Use Water Style—shoot them down before they hit the ground or we're all dead!"
Water jutsu and thrown weapons flew upward in a desperate barrage.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The sky lit up with chain explosions. The ground shook. Clouds of yellow sand swallowed everything. When the dust finally settled, more than half of Yagura's elite squad was gone—vaporized or torn apart.
"Scatter! Move!"
Yagura's order finally snapped them out of shock. But it was too late for most.
Sand ninja standing on the wall exhaled in relief at Rasa's arrival, then started laughing at the battered Mist forces.
"This is the great Hidden Mist's power?"
"You show up at our gates talking shit and this is all you've got?"
"You really thought you could threaten our Kazekage?"
The remaining Mist shinobi seethed—especially Yagura.
Crimson Six-Tails chakra erupted around him like a burning coat.
Rasa hovered above, staring down coldly.
"Magnet Release: Gold Dust."
Hundreds of razor-sharp gold needles materialized beside him and rained down like a storm.
Yagura looked up, chakra swirling in front of him. Another Tailed Beast Bomb began forming, aid straight at Yatagarasu.
The Mist ninja cheered. They'd seen what that bomb did to the navigation groups. Nothing survived it.
Sand ninja tensed.
"The Kazekage is strong, but that's still a Tailed Beast Bomb…"
"Will Yatagarasu be okay?"
Right before the bomb reached the giant crow, Rasa stepped forward—straight into it.
"Flowing Sand Shift: Guide."
In an instant, both Rasa and the Tailed Beast Bomb vanished.
BOOM!
A massive explosion erupted far in the distance, carving a huge crater into the desert and sending sand flying.
The Mist ninja stared in confusion.
"Where did it go?!"
"The Kazekage… he redirected the Tailed Beast Bomb?!"
"There he is!"
A sharp-eyed Sand ninja pointed. Rasa stood calmly beside a sand soldier, completely untouched. His clothes weren't even wrinkled. He had just casually dealt with a Tailed Beast Bomb like it was a B-rank jutsu.
Yagura's eyes went wide with disbelief.
"Impossible… My Tailed Beast Bomb—gone that easily? How the hell did he do that?!"
His face twisted with rage.
"Fine. Try this!"
Yagura poured chakra into his legs and exploded forward like lightning, closing the distance in a blink.
Rasa's eyes narrowed.
"Sand Soldier: Erge."
Dozens of sand soldiers rose from the ground, shields in one hand, spears in the other, surrounding Yagura and the remaining Mist ninja.
The other Sand shinobi tried to help, but Rasa stopped them.
"Stay back. You'll only get in my way—and get yourselves killed."
It was true. Rasa didn't want them dying for nothing. Yagura, on the other hand, didn't give a damn about his own n. He just wanted them to distract Rasa.
Yagura's chakra cloak let him smash through sand soldiers like they were paper—fists caving in heads, punches blowing holes through chests. But the sand soldiers didn't care. They kept coming, fearless and relentless.
The real Mist shinobi weren't so lucky.
"Arc-Moon Sand Dune."
Rasa's right arm wrapped in sand, reshaping into a deadly curved blade as he moved. Every ti it touched a Mist ninja, the technique drained every drop of moisture from their body in an instant.
"AAAAAHH!"
One Mist shinobi barely had ti to scream before he collapsed into a dry, withered corpse.
The remaining Mist ninja stared in horror.
"What the hell is that?!"
"Is that… Scorch Release?!"
"But we're fighting Rasa, not Pakura!"
Even the Sand ninja were stunned.
"Does the Kazekage have Scorch Release too?!"
"If he has both Magnet Release and Scorch Release… how strong is he actually?"
"Yagura's screwed."
