"Kurotsuchi, take Kyoshin around the house first," Onoki said with a stiff expression. After giving instructions to Kurotsuchi, he turned to Kitsuchi. "You, co with ."
Onoki flew back toward the Tsuchikage's office. Once they were so distance from the house, he ordered, "Notify all senior officials. I'm calling an important eting."
Kitsuchi acknowledged the order and left.
Onoki quickly returned to his office, floating through the doorway.
The heavy stone doors shut behind him, cutting off all outside sound.
He walked to the stone desk and picked up the short registration form.
His eyes locked onto the na "Uchiha." The old man unconsciously tightened his grip on the paper, the joints of his fingers turning faintly white.
That surna itself was the mark of an era.
A symbol of terrifying power.
Onoki closed his eyes, and the image of that man seed to erge before him once again.
Uchiha Madara.
Back during the first Five Kage Summit, he had only been the bodyguard of the Second Tsuchikage, Mu.
Madara rely had to stand there. The chakra radiating from him felt like tangible darkness, suffocating everyone around him.
It was terror beyond individual strength, sothing close to a natural disaster.
The Uchiha clan was a race born for battle.
The Sharingan's genjutsu, perception, copying ability…
Every one of those powers was enough to make any ninja village covet them, and enough to make any enemy tremble in fear.
That deep wariness had been carved into his bones.
And yet now, an Uchiha survivor, a seven-year-old child, had willingly co to Iwagakure.
The old man opened his eyes, his focus returning.
Slowly, he sat down and began analyzing every word Kyoshin had spoken today, every expression he had shown.
Analytical ability so calm it bordered on cruelty. An incredibly precise grasp of the situation among the great ninja villages. An attitude before the Tsuchikage himself that was neither servile nor arrogant…
'Could a seven-year-old really possess that kind of mind?'
Instinctively, Onoki began comparing Kyoshin to the rumors he rembered hearing about Madara's childhood.
Madara had been arrogant and domineering.
Kyoshin, however, displayed steadiness and rationality.
No, it wasn't just different.
Onoki sharply sensed that Kyoshin possessed sothing even more terrifying.
Absolute control over his own emotions and desires.
A strategic, overarching perspective far beyond his age.
Madara's power had been like a volcanic eruption.
But Kyoshin's potential felt more like an undercurrent beneath the deep sea. Calm on the surface, yet hiding imasurable force below.
More importantly, the Uchiha clan represented extre love, and because of that, they could easily fall into the opposite extre.
But Kyoshin… His ntality, his rationality, simply didn't seem capable of "falling."
"For soone so young… he might actually be even more absurd than Madara…", Onoki muttered hoarsely to himself.
Even he felt a chill in his heart after reaching that conclusion.
He clenched his back teeth hard, his jaw tightening as he tried to suppress the surging excitent rising in his chest.
If Iwagakure could truly gain an Uchiha that belonged entirely to them… An absolutely loyal Uchiha.
A genius whose potential might even surpass Uchiha Madara's… What would that an?
Iwagakure's power would rise to heights never seen before.
The balance among the Five Great Nations would be completely shattered.
However, all of this depended on one thing, Kyoshin's sincerity.
Onoki's gaze lowered once more, landing on the final line of the registration form.
[Chakra attributes: Fire, Wind, Earth.]
'Fire, Wind, Earth...'
'Dust Release?!'
The term exploded through Onoki's mind like thunder.
Dust Release, a Bloodline Selection that stood above Bloodline Limits.
Ford by fusing the chakra nature transformations of Earth, Fire, and Wind, it was the signature technique that allowed Onoki to dominate the ninja world, as well as one of Iwagakure's highest secret arts.
And yet an Uchiha…
Naturally possessed the exact innate attributes required for learning Dust Release, the most difficult and precious prerequisite of all.
Every ounce of restraint, every trace of rationality, snapped apart in that instant.
Onoki abruptly shot to his feet from the stone chair, both hands braced against the desk edge, trembling slightly from excessive force.
"Heh… hah… hahahahaha!"
The old man raised his head. On his wrinkled face, the corners of his mouth stretched nearly to his ears, exposing rows of pale teeth.
"Uchiha Kyoshin." His laughter gradually subsided, but the feverish light in his eyes remained undiminished. "Good! I'm taking this gamble!"
Kitsuchi moved quickly.
Iwagakure's core leadership soon gathered inside the Tsuchikage's office.
The atmosphere was heavy.
Onoki got straight to the point.
"Uchiha Kyoshin is currently in our village."
"An Uchiha?!" Several shocked cries rang out as the expressions of those present changed drastically, fear and wariness intertwining.
Onoki briefly explained Kyoshin's situation.
The mont they heard about his chakra attributes, several high-ranking officials lost composure, their breathing growing heavier.
"We absolutely must confirm his sincerity!" the Intelligence Division chief said excitedly.
"If it's genuine, then we should devote every resource to train him!" The head of the Education Departnt's eyes glead. "A loyal Uchiha genius carries enormous significance."
The direction of the eting quickly beca clear.
First, confirm his loyalty. Once confird, he would beco a core strategic asset.
"His bloodline must be passed down, but we need to handle it carefully," one departnt head said. "Everyone understands why Kumogakure failed to beco an option in his own analysis."
"In a few years, we'll create so 'accidental' opportunities."
The others silently agreed.
Afterward, they formulated a covert observation plan.
Experts from the Interrogation and Intelligence Divisions were secretly dispatched to observe and analyze Kyoshin from every angle without causing resentnt.
The testing quietly began.
———
Kyoshin's life at Onoki's house beca disciplined and grueling.
Every day he trained, Shuriken techniques, ninjutsu, chakra refinent.
Whenever he had enough chakra, he would use shadow clones to cast Sharingan genjutsu on himself, recreating scenes of fear.
Each ti he directly confronted that fear and forcibly broke free from it, his will grew tougher, and the power of his Sharingan advanced a little further.
He devoted an enormous amount of ti to training and almost never did anything unnecessary.
All of this was carefully recorded by the observers hidden in the shadows.
One week later, every report reached the sa conclusion.
Kyoshin possessed a resilient ntality, clear goals, and extrely high sincerity.
Onoki's doubts completely vanished, and he once again called a high-level eting.
This ti, the atmosphere was filled with excitent.
"The observation period is over. Although the amount of analyzable material was limited because he spent nearly every day training, Uchiha Kyoshin is trustworthy." Onoki's words instantly energized everyone present.
"Then we should formulate a developnt plan," the Education Departnt head said imdiately.
"We shouldn't rush the developnt of his Sharingan," another official added. "We have no experience in that area."
"And there's also Dust Release," Onoki said slowly.
The eting room instantly fell silent.
"Don't forget his chakra attributes."
There was no need to explain how important Dust Release was to Iwagakure.
It wouldn't even be an exaggeration to say that generations of Tsuchikage had built Iwagakure's dominance upon Dust Release.
But because Dust Release was so difficult to learn, and because its prerequisites were so harsh, even now, only Onoki himself had mastered it in the entire village.
Judging from Kyoshin's level of effort, along with the speed of his progress over this past week... if Onoki personally guided him carefully, then An Uchiha who could use Dust Release?
