"Go on, tell more—what's happened between the Land of Whirlpools and Konoha over the years?"
Akio sat in the Hokage's seat, which had originally belonged to Hiruzen Sarutobi, wearing an eager expression. As he absorbed his surroundings, he noticed sothing strange—another inconsistency. By all logic, if he had really been unconscious for so many years, his age should have advanced or regressed by over a decade. Yet his appearance hadn't changed at all.
The four people before him exchanged looks. Hiruzen hesitated before speaking.
"Elder Akio... the dead can't co back to life. Please, don't grieve too much…"
Akio froze, then laughed in disbelief.
"It's fine. Just tell —Konoha's gone through quite a bit these past years, hasn't it?"
"For example... Sakumo Hatake's suicide?"
The four of them suddenly looked uneasy.
"Have you... been hiding in the village all these years?" one of them asked cautiously.
Akio shook his head. "No, but I do possess the art of prophecy."
"I also know that the Senju Clan has declined, Tsunade has developed hemophobia, and the Uchiha... are suspected of plotting a coup."
As Akio continued listing events, the expressions on the four faces opposite him grew increasingly stunned. It was as if he had grasped every major and minor incident in Konoha—even so secrets that only the four of them should've known.
"Oh, and right, Orochimaru should have defected by now…"
At that, Akio frowned.
"What year did Orochimaru defect again?"
Hiruzen was visibly shaken.
"Elder Akio—why would Orochimaru defect?"
"Not yet, huh…" Akio muttered, recalling that he had set Orochimaru up in a dream. Not that it mattered—it was a dream, after all.
"It's fine. So? Aside from what I ntioned, what else has happened?"
After another glance among themselves, Danzo was the first to speak.
"We've gathered here to discuss the issue of the new Nine-Tails Jinchūriki—how to handle Namikaze Naruto."
Akio was montarily surprised. The boy was actually nad Namikaze Naruto?
But after a mont's thought and a look at the strange expressions of the other three, it made sense—he was probably originally nad Uzumaki Naruto, but fearing Akio would get too involved due to the shared surna, they must have changed it to Namikaze at the last mont.
Akio smiled. "So how do you plan to handle it?"
Danzo continued, "The Nine-Tails' rampage caused Konoha significant losses. I believe we must strictly monitor the new Jinchūriki to prevent another disaster."
Hiruzen hesitated. "Danzo, he's still Minato's child. Surveillance might be…"
"Even if we don't monitor him, we should at least hide the fact that he's the Nine-Tails' host," Mitokado Homura chid in. "The villagers mustn't find out."
"No," Koharu Utatane added. "For the village's sake, we must monitor him."
…
The four of them beca engrossed in their discussion, seemingly forgetting Akio was even there. He didn't interrupt, curious to see what conclusion they'd co to.
"You're too soft, Hiruzen!" Danzo suddenly shouted, causing a slight pause.
Akio sighed.
In a flash, he moved behind Danzo and delivered a swift kick.
"Soft, huh?"
Caught off guard, Danzo was struck directly in the backside and slamd into the wall in front of him.
"E-Elder Akio?" Hiruzen exclaid in shock.
The other two elders looked on with strange expressions, unsure whether to defend Danzo or simply observe in silence.
Akio ignored them, letting out a deep breath. That felt great.
"I've always hated Danzo in my past life. Might as well take this chance to teach him a lesson."
Danzo wasn't seriously injured. Shaking his head, he slowly stood up, his expression an unclear mix of anger and sothing else.
"Elder Akio... why?"
Akio sighed again. "No reason. I just find you irritating."
Danzo's face twitched, shifting through several expressions before he ultimately snorted and stood down without retaliation.
"Not because he fears —he just can't make a move yet," Akio thought. After all, the Uchiha hadn't been massacred yet, and Danzo had already implanted Hashirama's cells and several Sharingan.
Seeing the others still watching him closely, Akio chuckled.
"Don't mind . Carry on—I'm just observing."
Danzo hesitated, then tried again.
"Hiruzen, we must monitor the Jinchūriki—"
BANG!
Another loud crash, and Danzo went flying again.
"Yeah, I really can't help myself," Akio muttered, exhaling in satisfaction.
"Elder Akio…" Danzo had been slightly more prepared this ti and didn't crash too badly, quickly regaining his footing. His face flushed red—twice struck in the backside? That was pure humiliation.
He was probably thinking, If I could beat you, I'd have fought back already!
Akio ignored him. Since he'd already kicked him twice—and it felt so satisfying—he might as well go for more!
And thus began the "Danzo Bumper Car" segnt. No matter how he defended himself, Akio's gravitational jutsu would pull him in and land yet another strike to his rear.
"Huh?" Akio's next kick missed. He frowned slightly.
The Danzo who should have been hit faded away and reappeared in another spot.
"Izanagi? You can already use it at this point?" Akio smiled.
"But no jutsu is invincible…"
"Sealing Technique—" Just as Akio began forming hand seals, Hiruzen stepped in front of him.
"Lord Akio, please don't trouble Danzo any further…" Despite his differing views with Danzo over the years, Hiruzen couldn't bear to see him humiliated like this.
Akio smiled and waved it off. "Alright, alright. I've kicked him enough tis to feel satisfied. I won't press it any further."
"Well then—until next ti."
Hiruzen blinked. Akio closed his eyes and ford the Ram seal.
"Genjutsu Release!"
When he opened his eyes again, he found Hiruzen staring at him in confusion. Danzo stood nearby, face full of misery.
"What... just happened?" Akio was montarily stunned.
"No… this has to be fake. A genjutsu," he muttered. "I must be low on ntal strength."
He glanced at his "Witness Points." 450 remaining.
Gritting his teeth, he invested 400 points into Yin Nature, boosting it to level 9.
"This should do it."
"Genjutsu Release!"
The vision before Akio's eyes shattered layer by layer, and he plunged into darkness.
Inside a cave, Akio slowly opened his eyes. A voice called from nearby.
"Lord Akio, you're awake?"
It was Katsuyu.
Akio sat up, scanning his surroundings. The summoning contract was still active, and the Akayang Formation was still intact—this wasn't so bizarre illusion like the Spider Lily Cavern.
Kanji scrolled across his vision:
*"Witnessed and significantly altered the main tiline of the Naruto world: Sealed Black Zetsu. Witness Points 50 (8)."
"Only 'significantly'? Guess killing him would count as fully altering the tiline," Akio thought.
He looked around again and smiled.
"Now this is the proper way to wake up…"
