On the way back, Lin Moyu silently replayed the entire sequence of events in his mind.

From the very beginning, he had suspected how the Kunlun Snow God discovered his possession of God Slots.

It all traced back to the Kunlun Snow Grass.

The Kunlun Divine Palace dungeon offered a special reward for solo-clear within a set ti.

But since the dungeon’s creation, likely no one had ever achieved this.

As a result, the Kunlun Snow Grass remained untouched, growing stronger over the years, eventually mastering snowstorm power and ascending to beco a God of the water elent.

The phantom of the Kunlun Snow Grass that appeared on the Godhead during the Kunlun Snow God’s self-destruction confird Lin Moyu’s theory.

“He was a God born from Kunlun Snow Grass. The one that ca after could be said to be his descendant.”

“When I obtained the Kunlun Snow Grass, he sensed the God Slot auras in my body. That’s why he targeted .”

“He couldn’t act inside the dungeon, and I wasn’t outside for long. So, he waited—until I was about to leave—then dragged into his elental world.”

Lin Moyu muttered to himself, a faint smile playing on his lips.

He hadn’t gained anything tangible, but the battle had left him deeply satisfied.

He had slain a God; not one dying, but a truly alive one.

The feeling was indescribable.

"It’s a pity he was an idiot. If he’d been smarter, he wouldn’t have picked a fight with soone like .”

“After all, those who hold God Slots aren’t exactly easy targets.”

At the White God Courtyard, Bai Yiyuan sipped tea alone. ng Anwen was nowhere to be seen.

Lately, ng Anwen had been busy, traveling across the empire to set up the Soul Fusion Grand Formation.

It was an incredibly complex formation requiring precise installations across nurous locations.

With the military’s involvent and full backing from Dongfang Yi’s faction, progress was steady.

According to ng Anwen’s calculations, it would take about a month to complete.

He had been thrilled to study the formation. Not only was it God-level, but it was also on a scale he had never before encountered.

His previous formations typically spanned only a single city. This one would envelop an entire nation, over a thousand cities in total.

A challenge unlike any he had faced.

Before leaving, ng Anwen had said that if he succeeded, he would likely break through to level 96, becoming a high-rank God-level Formation Master.

In recorded human history, only one such Formation Master had ever existed.

This individual sealed the Putrid Corpse Land but sacrificed his life in the process.

The formation that contained the Putrid Corpse Land ca at the cost of his life.

Since then, no high-rank God-level Formation Masters had erged.

Lin Moyu felt genuine happiness for ng Anwen. The man now had a real shot at breaking through.

Just then, spatial fluctuations stirred the air.

Bai Yiyuan smiled lazily, “Moyu, co pour your teacher so tea.”

Lin Moyu walked over, poured the tea, and offered it respectfully, “Teacher, please.”

Bai Yiyuan studied him and frowned slightly, “You fought a God?”

“I did. A level 90 God.”

Lin Moyu poured himself a cup as well. The tea’s fragrance helped wash away the lingering aura of battle.

Bai Yiyuan asked, “And then?”

Lin Moyu replied casually, “He tried to kill , so I killed him instead.”

Bai Yiyuan was montarily stunned, “How? Gods aren’t easy to kill.”

Lin Moyu proceeded to recount the entire sequence of events.

When he ntioned the Kunlun Snow God’s self-destruction, Bai Yiyuan’s brows twitched.

A God’s self-destruction could injure even him.

Yet Lin Moyu was completely unscathed. Perhaps he had underestimated his disciple.

Lin Moyu said, “I thought I’d have to trouble you to clear out the poison gas. But that won’t be necessary anymore.”

“But, a few bystanders were caught in the crossfire and died. A couple were from the Shenxia Empire, the rest from other countries.”

Bai Yiyuan waved it off, “Anyone who ignored the godly general command deserved it. They’re not worth pitying.”

“As for the foreigners. If they died inside Shenxia’s borders, that’s their own fault. If any country dares complain, I’ll send them packing with a punch.”

That was very much in line with Bai Yiyuan’s personality.

Lin Moyu then took out the Kunlun Snow Grass, “Teacher, take a look at this.”

Bai Yiyuan gave it a glance and used Detection. His expression imdiately shifted to one of surprise.

“That’s so high-grade stuff. How’d you get it?”

“I solo-cleared the Kunlun Divine Palace. I received an excellent rating and this as a bonus.”

Bai Yiyuan nodded thoughtfully. He was well aware of Lin Moyu’s terrifying strength, fully capable of crushing dungeons of similar level.

No wonder he got an extra reward.

Bai Yiyuan said, “Keep it safe. Once Old ng returns, ask him about it. He’s more knowledgeable when it cos to this kind of thing.”

“But he’ll probably be busy for a while. Might not even show up to the matchmaking event.”

“Old ng’s old flas are going to be disappointed.”

Lin Moyu blinked. How did the topic shift so suddenly?

One mont they were chatting normally, the next, they were talking about ng Anwen’s old flas?

Bai Yiyuan said with a grin, “You don’t know, huh? Old ng’s got lovers everywhere. If he ever loses his mind, you might end up with at least eight, no, eighteen teacher’s wives.”

Lin Moyu’s mouth twitched, “Teacher Bai, isn’t it inappropriate to talk behind his back?”

Bai Yiyuan scoffed, “What’s the big deal? I’d say it to his face.”

Lin Moyu asked lightly, “What about you, Teacher Bai? Do you have soone you like?”

A flicker of light passed through Bai Yiyuan’s eyes, then faded.

He let out a soft sigh and closed his eyes, falling silent.

In that brief mont, Lin Moyu glimpsed sorrow.

Realizing he’d touched on sothing sensitive, he wisely said nothing more.

The Divine Stone Dungeon trial—mockingly dubbed the “matchmaking event” by Bai Yiyuan and ng Anwen—was set to begin in three days.

Yet representatives from great families, powerful forces, and even top academies had arrived ten days early.

Fortress No. 4 buzzed with activity.

Young elites mingled, laughed, and sized each other up.

To accommodate them, the military had set up several stages for sparring and friendly duels.

Quarrels were common among the young and proud, so the stages served as outlets to settle disputes.

So long as no one died, injuries could always be healed.

These were the brightest talents of the empire: handso n, beautiful won, all favored by fortune.

So found chemistry instantly. Others were paired through careful arrangents by their elders.

The elders, playing matchmaker, watched with satisfaction.

Pointing to the lively crowd, Bai Yiyuan chuckled, “Didn’t I tell you? It’s only been a few days, and look how many have already paired off.”

Lin Moyu offered a faint smile, his gaze sweeping the crowd as he sent a ssage to Ning Yiyi.

There was no reply.

“Yiyi hasn’t arrived yet.”

Bai Yiyuan scoffed, “You’ve got eyes only for Ning Yiyi. The world’s full of beauties—why not keep your options open?”

Lin Moyu looked puzzled by the remark.

Bai Yiyuan went on, “I’m just saying. The empire may preach monogamy, but godly generals and God-level powerhouses get certain privileges. Multiple marriages are fine.”

“Look at your Teacher ng. If he wanted to wed, seventeen or eighteen won would be lining up.”

As usual, Bai Yiyuan’s mouth ran unchecked. Lin Moyu simply smiled and stayed quiet.

Bai Yiyuan added, “She’ll probably arrive tomorrow or the next day. In the anti, walk around, et people. Most of them are your age. Might as well socialize.”

Just as Lin Moyu was about to respond, a lodic voice called out, “Yiyuan!”

It was sweet, bold, and flirtatious—very pleasant to the ear.

At the sound, Bai Yiyuan reacted like a startled cat.

“Moyu, I just rembered sothing. See you in three days!” He blurted before shooting into the sky.

A woman in a light yellow dress appeared, rushing over like a spring breeze.

She looked to be in her early thirties, and was exquisite, radiant, and brimming with presence.

Seeing Bai Yiyuan flee, she laughed and soared after him, her speed matching his.

The woman was a God-level powerhouse, and not much weaker than Bai Yiyuan.

And clearly, Bai Yiyuan was avoiding her.

“Teacher Bai... is afraid of her?” Lin Moyu’s eyes sparkled with amusent, as if he’d just discovered a new continent.
