[Light elental resistance 3%]
As the light cluster burst apart, the surrounding light elent lost its target and stopped pouring in.
Lin Moyu received the final notifications, and monts later his entire body glowed with the radiance of a level-up.
In under two minutes, he had jumped from level 70 to level 71.
He absorbed every trace of the surging soul force, not letting a single strand escape.
The level itself didn’t matter much. He could’ve reached level 71 in a few days by grinding in a dungeon.
This trial rely saved him a little ti.
What truly mattered was the increase in his light elental resistance.
It had reached 100%.
He had gained Light Elental Immunity.
Following his Poison and Lightning Elental Immunities, he now possessed three elental immunities.
Lin Moyu couldn’t help feeling a surge of excitent.
“Worth it.”
This trial had given him far more than expected.
The platform continued to shimr faintly. Lin Moyu could clearly sense the light elent dancing cheerfully in the air.
This place was saturated with pure light elent—nothing else existed here.
Every other elent had been forcibly expelled by so unknown power.
A power capable of expelling elents had to be at least high-tier God-level.
Only laws could accomplish such a thing.
Then, Lin Moyu felt a gaze on him.
At the center of the platform, a massive glowing Dragon stared at him with curiosity.
Lin Moyu looked back. This Dragon was different from the others he had seen.
His body was far larger, especially his length, which was almost exaggerated.
Compared to the Dragon Lyle he had just t, this one was at least twice as long, with a long, thick tail.
His shape wasn’t entirely typical of Dragons, yet his identity was unmistakable.
“This one is special.” Lin Moyu thought.
“Little human, you are quite impressive.” the Dragon said.
There was no hostility. If anything, his tone contained a hint of friendliness.
Still, Lin Moyu remained cautious and replied with asured politeness.
“Thank you for the complint. How should I address you, Sir?”
The Dragon exhaled a glowing sphere that dispersed into dust-like motes of light.
Then he inhaled deeply, drawing in countless light clusters.
The light elent condensed into a mist that he exhaled again.
The scene strangely reminded Lin Moyu of smoking.
“My na is Holylight.” The Dragon said slowly, “A Holy Dragon. And you?”
Since he was being polite, Lin Moyu introduced himself as well.
“Lin Moyu, human. Class: Undying Holy King.”
Holylight breathed in and out again, “You absorbed all that soul force and even leveled up. Your soul’s level must be quite high.”
“You’re level 71 now, so passing my trial should be slightly easier.”
That confird sothing for Lin Moyu. Leveling inside the dungeon didn’t change the difficulty of the trials.
The difficulty was set before one entered the dungeon.
“Sir Holylight, may I ask what the third stage is?”
Holylight exhaled leisurely, “The third stage? It’s very simple.”
“Do you see that palace behind ?”
Of course he did.
It was enormous, towering at least a thousand ters high, its open front gate revealing a faintly lit interior.
Holylight continued, “As long as you can enter it, you will be considered to have passed the trial.”
He stood about 5,000 ters away. At full speed, flying there would take six seconds.
With his fastest thod, two seconds would suffice
But Holylight would definitely intervene. The challenge wasn’t reaching the palace, it was getting past Holylight.
“Any thod is acceptable?” Lin Moyu asked.
Holylight nodded, “Yes, anything is allowed.”
“How much power will you use?”
“By the rules, I can’t exceed level 85.” Holylight replied, “But I am a Holy Dragon, and my strongest trait is defense.”
Lin Moyu asked, “Is there a ti limit?”
“Of course. But since you’re human, I’ll make an exception and give you 24 hours. Is that enough?”
Holylight was confident, clearly believing Lin Moyu couldn’t break through his defense no matter how long he tried.
“In that case, I’ll give it a try.” Lin Moyu said.
“Start whenever you wish.” Holylight replied lazily, exuding unshakable confidence.
Lin Moyu took a deep breath. Holylight was likely level 96 or higher.
If he unleashed his true power, Lin Moyu wouldn’t stand a chance.
His only edge was that Holylight was restricted to level 85.
At the sa ti, his specialty was defense, aning he might try to block Lin Moyu with his own body.
It was a defense that Lin Moyu doubted he could pierce, even if Holylight stood still and took the hit.
He thought for a few seconds and ford a plan.
“My best chance is to catch him off guard.”
There were no flight restrictions here, so Lin Moyu could move freely.
All limitations had been lifted. Now, he only needed to find a way into the palace and clear the trial.
With a single thought, countless Headless Knights materialized in the air.
The instant they appeared, they activated Charge and surged toward Holylight.
At the sa ti, one Headless Knight appeared before Lin Moyu. He leapt onto its warhorse without hesitation.
Carrying Lin Moyu, the Headless Knight unleashed Charge and shot toward the palace.
It rushed at a blistering 3,000 ters per second, requiring only two seconds to reach the target.
Lin Moyu streaked forward like a beam of light, slipping past Holylight, who didn’t even react.
The palace grew rapidly in his vision, already within reach after just 1.5 seconds.
Suddenly, a blinding flash erupted ahead. A barrier-like shield materialized in his path.
“Ram through it!”
At such close range, there was no turning back.
Gritting his teeth, he urged the Charge forward and slamd into the barrier.
The Headless Knight struck with its full force.
A thunderous crash followed, yet the barrier didn’t budge.
The Headless Knight took heavy damage, and a massive rebound force exploded outward, flinging both it and Lin Moyu nearly a thousand ters back before they managed to steady themselves in midair.
The rebound force was roughly twice the strength of the Headless Knight’s Charge.
It reminded Lin Moyu of the verdant grassland’s reflection attribute; this barrier had the sa effect.
Looking around, he realized the entire platform was now sealed beneath a bowl-shaped do of light.
Holylight, the Holy Dragon, hadn’t moved from the start. He simply watched, eyes amused.
Lin Moyu had planned to let the Headless Knights distract him while he rushed into the palace.
But Holylight ignored them entirely, trapping him with a single defensive skill.
Lin Moyu’s eyes narrowed.
If Holylight wasn’t going to move, he had no intention of wasting ti on him either.
The Headless Knights instantly shifted targets, dispersing across the platform.
Lin Moyu approached the barrier, pressed his hand against it, and sensed the energy flow within.
This barrier was generated by a skill, unlike any barrier of the Abyss.
Pure light elent flowed through it, mixed with sothing else.
It was law aura.
Holylight had woven laws together with the light elent to form this barrier.
Despite the imnse power, he had carefully controlled it so that it didn’t surpass level 85.
Lin Moyu had no grounds to object.
Holylight had promised not to use power above level 85. He had said nothing about not using laws.
With laws involved, the barrier might appear to be level 85, but even God-level experts might fail to break it.
No wonder Holylight stood there so calmly.
“Law aura…” Lin Moyu murmured.
Holylight glanced at him, “Not bad. You actually figured it out.”
His tone radiated confidence, as if to say: Even if you figured it out, what can you do? You still can’t break it.
