The combined shock jolted Lin Moyu’s soul. His body convulsed, and at last, he snapped back to awareness.
Antares exhaled heavily in relief, “Brat, what on earth were you thinking about? Your soul nearly collapsed. That could’ve damaged your foundation.”
Lin Moyu gasped for breath, his heart pounding. It felt as though he had just walked past the edge of death.
His mories were strange, both blurred and painfully clear.
What was blurred was the very questions he had been pursuing monts ago. It felt as if he had forcibly sealed them away, cutting them off before they could go any further.
He finally understood why the few who had successfully obtained Primordial Skills never spoke of what happened inside the secret realm.
They definitely knew exactly what was inside, but they never revealed a single word.
It wasn’t that they were unwilling to speak. They couldn’t. They couldn’t even think about it.
Lin Moyu suspected that they, like him, had sealed that portion of their mories.
Seeing Lin Moyu fall silent again, Antares leaned closer, suspicion rising, “Hey, are you alright? Don’t tell you’ve turned into an idiot.”
Lin Moyu shook his head, “I entered the Primordial Space.”
Antares blinked, “Isn’t that normal? That was your goal from the start. So what happened? Did you succeed?”
“I did.” Lin Moyu replied, “Both skills were retained.”
Antares’s eyes lit up with excitent, “I knew it! If even you couldn’t retain them, no one else would stand a chance. How was it? Difficult?”
“It was alright.” Lin Moyu said honestly, “A few trials. Nothing too hard.”
For soone with his ability, that was the truth.
“That makes sense. Your strength far surpasses others of the sa level…”

Mid-sentence, Antares suddenly erupted with a deafening roar, “Brat—don’t tell you still rember the secret realm!”
Lin Moyu nodded, “I do.”
Antares surged with excitent, “Then hurry up and tell . What was it really like?”
Lin Moyu frowned, “You don’t know?”
“Nonsense!” Antares snapped, “If I knew, why would I ask? Since the previous age, everyone who entered ca out without any mory of it!”
Lin Moyu remained calm, “Didn’t you say you know everything?”
Antares snorted irritably, “Stop stalling and speak!”
Lin Moyu smiled faintly, “Do you truly want to know?”
Antares glared at him, “If you don’t talk, I’ll swallow you whole.”
Lin Moyu knew Antares was joking.
He sat down at once and motioned for Antares to co closer.
Antares lowered his enormous head until it was nearly beside Lin Moyu.
Lowering his voice deliberately, Lin Moyu whispered, “Inside the secret realm, there’s a pavilion. Within it lies an independent space. But before entering the independent space, I saw a scene.”
“A starry sky with countless experts, an old man riding a green ox, and purple qi surging…”
Roar!
Antares suddenly roared again, cutting him off.
The thunderous sound made Lin Moyu’s ears ring, “What are you doing?”
Fear echoed in Antares’s roar, and the sa fear flickered unmistakably in his eyes.
Antares shook his massive head, “Don’t say it. Don’t say it anymore.”
Lin Moyu frowned, “What’s wrong?”
Antares lowered his voice, heavy and grave, “Rember this: matters concerning that being must never be ntioned. Not to anyone. If you speak too much, disaster will follow.”
Lin Moyu felt confused, “But I’ve already left the secret realm.”
Antares shook his head like a rattle drum, “It’s useless. Completely useless. Location doesn’t matter.”
“Even if you reach the deepest reaches of the starry sky, the mont you ntion his na, he will hear.”
Lin Moyu could hardly believe it, “But I don’t even know his na.”
From beginning to end, he had only guessed. The old man riding a green ox, who had offered him tea, might be the legendary Laozi from Lin Moyu’s previous world.

Lin Moyu asked, “Is he really that terrifying?”

The seriousness in Antares’s voice made Lin Moyu’s heart sink.
Earlier, Lin Moyu had been replaying every detail of the secret realm, trying to piece together the truths of the outside world.
Images of powerful beings surfaced again and again, including the Primordial Bird, as well as the old man he suspected to be Laozi.
The images clung to him like a curse, impossible to shake.
Now he finally understood the danger.
Even when facing the Dragon God, Antares had shown no fear.

Antares shook his head, “Gui Fu isn’t terrifying. He’s cruel. Compared to that person, Gui Fu is nothing.”
“Let repeat myself about the matters of the secret realm…”
Lin Moyu cut him off, “Don’t worry. I know my limits. I only ntioned it to you once. I won’t bring it up again.”
Only then did Antares relax. He understood Lin Moyu well;

Lin Moyu’s level of caution was sothing even Antares found admirable.

The two continued chatting and bickering.

Antares, too, had been alone for countless years.
