Grey said, "This array will act as the safeguard against the calamity."
"Is this so sort of defensive array, Master?" Werner asked. "No, this array doesn’t have the pattern of a defensive array. It closely resembles a killing array, but it’s scattered across the place. It’s hard to say if it’s a killing array or not."
"You are sharp," Grey praised his disciple. "It is indeed sothing like that, but I won’t spoil the fun. You will naturally find out once it activates."
With a thoughtful expression, he continued speaking. "Also, I want you to bring out many evolvers and help power this formation, preferably 2nd rankers. Only then can it activate at its full power."
"I’ve placed a conversion diagram inside. It should automatically convert the energy into aetheric energy."
Arrays needed energy, especially the Corruption Field Sealing Array and the Doom Engraving Formation, which utilized that energy to eliminate people. The more energy stored, the more powerful it beca.
Grey once again placed his hands on the pillar, and purple-black lightning flashed across his palm before rushing into the pillar.
He also infused heavenly tribulation into his grand array.
This power would strengthen the array’s effectiveness by a huge margin.
"Yes, I will do as you say." Werner gave a nod. "But, Master, what is this array called?"
"Hm?"
Grey tilted his head, appearing thoughtful.
And after a mont of thought, he finally answered with a serious look, "It will be called the Eliminate the Chickens Array."

"With help from the Formation Association, we managed to fill the Eliminate the Chickens Array quite a bit," Werner explained. "We did et so resistance, but we were able to continue the preparations under the guise of saying it was a systematic inspection of the formation. It was mind-blowing to Valeria. She finally understood just how powerful he was. He was not so re 1st Ranker. How many 1st Rankers were capable of doing what he had done?

She also saw the patriarchs of important families like the Wyneters and the Gravesons standing in the air, far away from her, with stunned looks on their faces.
"Is it over?" Valeria asked herself.
The entirety of the High Order and the corruption fields had been eliminated, but a part of her told her that it was far from over. If she wasn’t wrong, the late-stage High Order mber should still be in the city, and they didn’t know where the City Lord was either.
And her intuition didn’t fail her.

A dense amount of abyssal energy abruptly erupted from the Interwire Company’s headquarters.
The energy leaking out was so horrifying that the entire Ashspire City began to shake as if an earthquake had struck.
Nearby 2nd Rankers imdiately had a change of expression.
Even Valeria’s expression turned grim.
"A late-stage 2nd Ranker!" Werner’s expression darkened slightly. "Is it that High Order mber?"
"WHO? WHO IS IT?!" An enraged voice belonging to Varyn bood across the entire Ashspire City.
"WHO IS THE ONE THAT DISRUPTED THE HIGH ORDER’S PLAN?" Light flickered and Varyn ascended into the sky. All the drones near the area imdiately focused on him.
He stood there with an angered look plastered across his face.
He couldn’t believe what was happening right now.
An array that could eliminate corruption fields and specifically target High Order mbers!
Just who was it?!
He turned to face Valeria, who stood a sector away from him, but with his sharp vision, he could see her clearly.
His higher-up had specifically asked him to take Valeria away. Since this plan had failed, he would kidnap Valeria and imdiately go to the Three Guards Province to open a portal.
Once an abyssal creature descended, he would co back and take over Ashspire City!
Varyn took a step forward, colossal abyssal energy surging behind him. In an instant, he appeared right beside Valeria.
And just before she could even react, a sharp punch shot toward her stomach.
However, to his surprise, nothing happened to Valeria.
Just before his punch could land, a golden light erged from her body and ford a protective shield around her.
"You thought it would be easy?" Valeria smiled charmingly as she noticed the surprised look on Varyn’s face.
"You’ll have to think twice before you can lay a hand on ~" she said sweetly, but there was a hint of coldness in her words.
She knew there was no way to win against a late-stage evolver, but with her trump cards, she would definitely not go down without a fight.
Just then, Werner appeared beside her. Looking at the High Order mber with a cold expression, he imdiately unleashed his powers, his body turning crimson red in the process.
A battle was about to begin, one that would shake the entire city.
