Following that, amidst the gazes of several experts, several flashes of red-black lightning spread across all three cities.

"Corruption fields!" one expert said with a shocked expression. "Corruption fields are forming across the city!"

Boom! Boom! Buzz! Buzz!

Black abyssal energy ford around the city for a mont, this was the sign that the Necro Star was forming.

"Help! I’m going to get swallowed by the corruption field!" A normal citizen in Dawnwatch City ran like his life depended on it, yet it was all for naught as the corruption field grew and completely swallowed him.

"Sister! Wait! I’m coming! Try to push the debris away!" One evolver from Ironveil City had a disbelieving expression as he rushed toward his sister who had fallen under a large debris of a skyscraper that was instantly destroyed from the formation of a corruption field near it.

From the look of it, his sister was in imnse pain, and there was no doubt about it, her body was severed cleanly at the midsection. The only reason she was still alive was due to her true energy keeping her alive.

"Everyone, protect the citizens!" The law enforcer in Silverguard City exclaid, and behind him were many other enforcers.

However, before they could take a step forward, a grey robed high order descended. "What are you little weaklings going to do?"

As his words fell, abyssal energy burst out and went for the law enforcers.

Boom!

The instant it contacted them, they all turned into blood mist.

"The law enforcers are dead! Run!"

Terrified civilians ran with dread written on their faces.

With each passing mont, more and more corruption fields were being birthed.

Eventually, the province itself could not be seen properly.

Second ranked evolvers soared to the skies of the province and clashed with the high order mbers and the automations that were utilizing ard technology weapons powered by the law power and and telekinesis to fight.

"ORIN ARDENT!" City Lord Dorian roared. "What is your plan?!"

"What do you want to do with my city?!"

As he said that, he shot toward the Light Saber. A terrifying beastly energy erupted from him, distorting the air as it spread. In an instant, City Lord Dorian grew sharp tallic wings behind his back, his nails lengthened into curved talons, and his eyes narrowed into avian pupils.

He had unleashed the bloodline power of the 3rd rank Steelcrest Eagle.

Steelcrest Eagles possessed steel-like resilience that beca even stronger when amplified by the beastly energy of a bloodline warrior. Their wings could also manifest endlessly as steel feathers forged from pure energy.

Whoosh!

Dorian fluttered his wings once. Hundreds of steel feathers tore through the air. Each one was coated in beastly energy, and every feather carried enough power to level a small town the mont it struck the ground.

Now, those sa feathers streaked toward the Light Saber. The giant cha stood unmoving. Before the feathers could reach it, every single one froze mid-air, stopped by an invisible force.

Telekinesis.

"Hmph." Orin snorted coldly inside the cockpit. The suspended feathers abruptly reversed direction and shot back toward City Lord Dorian at twice the speed.

Dorian’s expression tightened. He crossed his arms into an X and unleashed a burst of energy. A manifested shield covered him, blocking the returning feathers. They ricocheted away and fell toward the ground.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The instant they hit, the barren land below exploded into deep craters. Each feather carried power capable of splitting a mountain, yet none of the surrounding cities were hard thanks to the city lord mansion being far from the three cities.

Inside the city lord mansion, several high order mbers had entered the mansion and were fighting the attendees.

Several experts from other cities, seeing the sudden chaos inside the city lord mansion, rushed down from the upper floors to assist. Their auras flared as they charged into the fray, clashing directly against grey robed high order mbers.

The attendees of the mansion were struggling. They were fighting against first ranked black robed high order mbers who had been airlifted into the mansion’s courtyard by the stronger second rank high order mbers.

The attendees, while powerful, were no match for them.

"Charge!" Evan exploded forward like a drawn arrow released. Watching the attendees fight and struggle made it impossible for him to just stay quiet and watch, and sword energy and spiritual energy bubbled from his body.

On the side, Alissa was not inactive either. She lifted her hands, her expression remained indifferent, but a swarm of ice surged from her fingertips, twisting into sharp lances which shot into the sky and rained down on the black robed high order mbers.

"You’re annoying!" one of them roared. Breaking past the icicle lances, a high order mber shot forward with his figure blurring as he rushed straight at her, a small gleaming dagger appearing in his grip, and without hesitation he slashed down at Alissa’s throat with precision.

However, just before he could reach her, a cold light flashed across the battlefield.

Clang!

A red light shot in front of them both and easily deflected the attack.

Lia stood there with her sword raised, sparks scattering from the impact with the dagger. Her expression was calm and calculative.

The high order mber stumbled back a step, stunned that she had intercepted him this casually.

Then, before he could even recover, Lia moved.

Her foot tapped the ground lightly, and her sword rose with the air distorting.

She took a step forward, a terrifying sonic boom left behind in her way as sword energy surged forward alongside her.

Zenith Sword Art, fourth form.

Within the matter of two months, Lia had managed to learn the technique to the Master stage thanks to her already unlocking sword energy. Things were far easier for her, hence she was effectively invincible at her own level.

A single arc of sword energy cut through the man, splitting him cleanly as if he were nothing more than dress. His body fell to the ground without even realizing what had happened.

Lia did not stop there.

Her figure flickered as she rushed deeper into the courtyard. Each swing of her sword left a trail of sharp light, and beams of sword energy sliced through the courtyard, severing tendons, shattering defenses, and cutting down the black robed high order mbers one after another.

She was like an endless killing machine, the way she moved had grace, yet with each attack another person fell.

"What?!" The attendees seeing this scene were montarily stunned.

So were Lia’s companions, Alissa, Evan and Lin Fang all montarily turned to look at Lia who stood there silently with a calm expression.

Her alluring figure had caught the attention of everyone in the scene. For a mont, she looked like a gracious battle fairy while she stood there with energy flowing out from her sword.
