As soon as the halo erged, everyone was stunned.
"The saint’s halo." The Immortal Lady spoke in shock.
"Grey... what is that?" Lia, who was the closest to him, was stunned.
She felt a special and mysterious power coming from the halo.
Grey no longer looked like a normal human anymore with that halo present.
No, he looked like an angel more than a human.
"It’s just one of my abilities. Don’t worry about it." Grey smiled and spoke. "Focus on summoning more Infernals."
"Yes." Lia replied.
She did not know what Grey’s plan was, but she went ahead and tried to open even more portals.
As she focused, Grey’s halo glowed with a brilliant purple radiance. Imdiately, it covered all the area near the mansion.
Following that, the cosmic ores started depleting at a fast rate. Lia leveraged the cosmic ore brought out by Grey, and surprisingly enough, she realized that her powers had grown stronger.
The next instant, even more portals opened up.
1... 2... 3... 4... and finally, at five, it stopped.
Now there were ten total portals.
"Yes, this should be enough to summon a large amount of them." Grey nodded.
Lia did not reply. Instead, she was focused on the ten portals. Imdiately, a deep hellish voice echoed from within them as Infernals began pouring out.
From five, to ten, to twenty-five, and finally fifty.
Fifty Infernals, all at the sixth stage of the second rank.
The atmosphere within the Three Guards Province shifted as the horrifying aura of the Infernals spread everywhere.
There were fifty total middle-stage second-ranked Infernals.
Pure fire spirits that could burn away anything.
They all roared in unison as they bowed towards Lia.
"It worked." Lia analyzed with a calm gaze, then she turned to Grey and spoke. "What should we do with them, Grey?"
To this, Grey’s spatial ring flashed and several talismans appeared in his hand.
"Give them this and make them put one at the edge of the Three Guards Province in all directions. As for the rest of the Infernals, make them deal with the High Order mbers in the cities."
As he said that, he turned to the High Order mbers the other Infernals were fighting.
ntal fluctuation erupted from Grey and imdiately, they fell to the ground with their eyes shot wide open.
"Use those Infernals too." Grey pointed at the first five Lia had summoned prior to him coming.
"Yes." Lia imdiately conveyed the information to the Infernals.
Imdiately, the army of Infernals soared into the sky, each step they took leaving a fiery imprint in the air.
The civilians and evolvers of the Three Guards Province all stared at this in surprise.
The Infernals were fast and efficient. They followed the orders perfectly, rushing to fight the High Order mbers while others went to the edges of the province to place down the talismans Grey had given them.
"Arghh! It hurts!" A High Order mber shouted as he fell under the fire of an Infernal.
"What are these monsters?!" Another one from far away shouted, but the next mont, a spear made of hellfire plunged directly into the man’s chest.
One by one, the High Order mbers were falling under the siege of the Infernals.
And soon, the other Infernals that were ordered to put down talismans were also done.
Varyn was naturally seeing this scene from above. He had a grim expression on his face. However, there was an even bigger problem in front of him.
Pink light shot out as energy condensed at Little Hong’s palm. She then fired it directly at Varyn.
Varyn gritted his teeth as he tried to dodge the attack, but he was still slightly grazed.
On the other side, a fiery red flaming human stood with his hands behind his back as he invited the giant robot to co at him.
"I don’t know who you are, you bastard, but you are going to die!" Orin shouted as he shot a barrage of electrical energy attacks.
He was now completely out of weapons to attack with, and Grey’s nexus convergence had sucked away all the weapons and machines he controlled.
Hence, he had to directly use the electricity he had collected with the Law of Machinery.
He was not afraid. His body was built with constantly refined cosmic ore, strengthened by the power of many second-rank evolvers. It would not break that easily, and he could use it for close combat as well.
Down below, Grey saw that all the talismans had been placed.
These talismans were miniature corruption field sealing arrays. These were the ones he had left on him as spares, hence he decided to put them all across the three cities of the Three Guards Province.
He then turned to Lia. "You can let go of my hands now."
Lia was tightly holding onto his hands, not letting go even after she was done summoning the portals.
"O-oh..." Lia imdiately beca flustered as she let go of his hands.
Seeing this, Grey knew she was embarrassed, so he decided to tease her a little.
"If you want to, we can hold hands after all of this is done." Grey said with a grin.
Hearing this, Lia almost fell from the sky.
However, she quickly regained her composure and spoke, "Stop teasing ."
She rolled her eyes at him, her expression returning to its usual calmness.
Indeed, with Grey, she felt more like her usual self.
At the sa ti, she no longer felt the blankness in her head. She felt more confident while speaking to Grey now.
Perhaps her awkwardness ca from them not eting for two months, and seeing how casually Grey treated her, the strangeness naturally faded away.
"Alright, wait here." Grey said with a laugh.
He flew up a bit more, enough to see all corners of the Three Guards Province, and ford a hand seal.
Imdiately, psionic energy erupted out and connected to the talismans across the province.
