They returned to the main world via the World Tree. They managed to land directly in the Nexus domain as well.
"Starting now, you can go back whenever you want, Jasmine," Grey said, turning to her.
"Wait, where is this place?" Jasmine asked in a surprised tone.
"We are in my new domain," Grey said with a smile. "For , a month has passed since you left."
"What?" Jasmine was stunned when she heard this.
All this in a matter of a year? Was that not insane? She had underestimated Grey after all. To think only one month would have passed for them!
Grey then pointed at one of the floating islands in the sky.
"That is the Blue Star. It is now just a floating island in the domain," Grey said with a smile. "Everyone you knew is still there, including your research institute."
Jasmine nodded. It might not have been a long ti for her assistants, but for her, almost ten years had passed in succession. She was bound to miss them.
She imdiately went toward the Blue Star island.
"The place that birthed Grey." Jasmine was thoughtful. He was a being that could not be asured through normal ans. Such a being was born in this unknown world.
She soon went to et up with the others.
While she was doing that, Grey stood in the air with a frown.
"Where is Bai Yue?" Grey realized that his fellow saint, Bai Yue, was missing.
They had not had much contact for a while, and she seed to be deliberately avoiding him recently.
"Did she leave to explore without saying anything?"
He thought that was unlike Bai Yue. She would usually say sothing to him. She regarded him as her master, after all.
Since that was the case, he decided to check in on the forr fourth-rankers whom he once considered the most prominent beings.
He went to find the Yin Matriarch Luna. She was the one closest to Bai Yue, along with Sera, the forr Origin Light and founder of the Celestial Fla Academy.
"What? Bai Yue is missing?" Yin Matriarch Luna was stunned by this piece of news. "How co? She was just chatting with a few days ago."
Grey frowned upon hearing this. He then went to find Sera.
She was spending ti with her husband, Wang Bao, whom Grey had once beaten to the point of death but eventually let live.
"Sister Bai is not here?" Sera was just as shocked as Yin Matriarch Luna.
"Did sothing happen, Grey Lockhart?" Wang Bao erged, concern written on his face.
"Do not worry," Grey spoke. "I will figure sothing out."

Without waiting for a reply, Grey decided to go directly to where Bai Yue lived.
She resided in a humble abode in the floating city. As soon as he descended, he saw that the place was distorted.
There was nothing left.
"That cannot be. She would not leave without saying anything." Grey shook his head as he began searching every nook and cranny. But in the end, the result was the sa. Nothing.
"What happened to her?" Grey’s eyes turned cold.
Could it be that while he was absent, Tian Yuan made a move?
He decided to ask the Origin Will. She brushed him off, saying she could not reveal such things, but she made it clear that it was not Tian Yuan. He had not made a move yet, and she also did not know where Bai Yue went.
She was there one day, and then she was suddenly gone.
Grey ca back to the Nexus domain with a frown.
Could it be that soone kidnapped Bai Yue?

Her eyes were always interesting. She cultivated the Law of Life and possessed the All-Seeing Eyes of Heaven. Most importantly, the reason she attained sainthood was because a fragnt of the Heavenly Dao allowed her to beco one. It was not the fragnt that followed him.
According to the fragnt with Grey, that particular fragnt was the one with the most authority, and as a result, he could not track down its location.
There might be a connection between the old Heavenly Dao and Bai Yue.
Her eyes were called the All-Seeing Eyes of Heaven, after all.
They could perceive fate. Perceiving fate was not sothing an ordinary person could do or achieve.
Grey had a crazy thought. When he rembered fate, he rembered the Jade Emperor.
"Could she be related to the Jade Emperor?"
But what made him even more concerned was that Bai Yue vanished without a trace. Even with his mind looking through all the data across the Nexus domain, there were no records of her ever leaving.
"This disappearance. I need to find out more about this."
Then, he rembered the World Tree.
Maybe it had a lead.
He took out the Soul Nourishing Jade. Imdiately, the voice of the World Tree echoed.
"What is up, Perfect One?"
"A person I was close to went missing. Do you know where she went?" Grey spoke as he transferred the information related to Bai Yue to the World Tree.
"Hm. This is..." The World Tree sounded surprised seeing the person.
"I recognize her," the World Tree spoke. "I was actually interested in this person."
"She was a unique individual."
"I could not see through her," the World Tree added.
"Could not see through her?" Grey frowned.
"Yes," the World Tree replied. "She had a special power that made it impossible for to sense her or anything about her."
"She had a thin layer of ascendancy power covering her."
"I thought you knew."
"What?!" Grey was stunned hearing this. He did not know such a thing!
Ascendancy power? His thoughts raced. How could Bai Yue have ascendancy power?
"Now that I think about it, just a day before you left, there was an ascendancy power fluctuation on the Blue Star floating island."
Grey beca serious when he heard this.
"I thought it was you and did not think too much of it, because I clearly rember you trapping so ascendancy power inside yourself to study," it added. "But it was unmistakable. I believe this ascendancy power belongs to a Paragon."
Grey’s expression imdiately went pale.
A Paragon?
Right in the Nexus domain? All while he and his family were here?
