"Senior, we’re leaving!" Qin Ming and Xiao Wu perford a solemn bow, bidding farewell to the two elders.
Yu Gen Sheng and Zhao Ziyan still had many matters to handle; as senior mbers of the Shanhai Academy, they couldn’t just run away.
"All good things must co to an end, Brother Ming. Thank you for taking care of these days, but I have to go now!" After leaving Kunleng, Xiao Wu bid farewell to Qin Ming, ready to embark on his solo adventure.
The two didn’t take a spaceship or an Exotic Bird but planned to blend in with the lower-level cultivators and travel on foot.
For them, leaving the Kunleng Territory was no problem.
"Take care, brother!" Qin Ming looked at him. He felt satisfied, having fulfilled his promise to Grandma Wu by taking care of him for over two months. Xiao Wu was highly adaptable and could easily be independent.
The Yewu World is vast; if they went to opposite ends of the earth now, eting again would be challenging.
However, it was evident that neither of them was the type to settle down for long.
Wu Yaizu said, "Brother Ming, maybe we’ll et again soon. I’m planning to go to the Da Yu Imperial City to see the diplomatic mission from that mysterious nation."
He figured that if the Immortal Path Disciples couldn’t handle the Sun Elves, they might invite outsiders like him and Qin Ming to assist.
Then he laughed and said, "Yu City is one of the ten famous cities in the Yewu World. I heard it’s full of outstanding people, and at night the Shuyu River is full of painted boats with lodious music, endless song and dance. I want to see it for myself."
"Be careful out there," Qin Ming advised.
"Brother Ming, where are you planning to go?" Xiao Wu asked.
"I plan to wander around the Yewu World, look for special abnormalities, and probably make a trip back to Black and White Mountain," Qin Ming replied.
Lately, he had buried himself in the Book Collection Building at the Shanhai Academy, studying the maps of the Yewu World and gathering many books related to the Cursed Lands.
Wu Yaizu said, "Alright, if the Immortal Road requests help, I’ll have them find you in Chixia City first. I’ll make sure to speak up and have them prepare enough nourishnt for you."
Then, the two parted ways into different groups of "refugees," heading toward the distant darkness at the land’s edge.
Wu Yaizu joined a group of travelers heading in the direction of Da Yu, while Qin Ming joined another, destined for Da Rui.
He had researched the famous evil lands of the world and found there was one at the border between Kunleng and Da Rui.
Specifically, there was a deep pool there, recorded in an Ancient Book that a Famous Evil was once discovered there. It was said that a black dragon was captured there a millennium ago.
A black dragon recorded in the Famous Evil Record is naturally a priceless abnormality!
Over a thousand years had passed, and Qin Ming intended to try his luck to see if a transforming evil had re-erged there.
Importantly, he had fishing tools well-suited for hunting by the abyss and pondside.
Along the way, Fire Springs were scarce, and a heavy night shrouded the land. It took ti for people to adjust to the darkness after leaving the brightly lit cities.

The group initially had a hundred people, but as they moved, those heading to different cities in Da Rui split off, leaving only a dozen companions at the end.

An old man said, "It’s nothing. In the Yewu World, everyone who walks the night knows anything can happen. Just stay calm, and you’ll be fine. Those old rchants survived long journeys because they had a big heart."
"Isn’t it said that... all old traveling rchants who wander the night are eventually replaced by sothing inexplicable?" soone said, their face pale.
Suddenly, the group was spooked, and soone quickly rebuked him, saying, "Brother, we’re walking the night! Just keep quiet, will you?!"
Qin Ming and the others had traveled hundreds of miles, but there was still a long way to go to enter Da Rui.
Late at night, they made camp; for cultivators of the First Realm, it wasn’t possible to travel fifteen hundred miles without stopping.
Blending in with the group, Qin Ming naturally "did as the Romans do" and didn’t travel alone.
In the latter half of the night, the camp was quiet, without a single sound.
Suddenly, Qin Ming was startled awake, swinging his Jade Iron Blade, hearing a piercing scream nearby.
Blood splattered instantaneously, and in the invisible void, wisps of green smoke rose, as though so demonic creature had perished; the blood also turned into smoke and evaporated.
He had known for a long ti that in the uninhabited areas of the Yewu World, one might encounter unseen, intangible things. They truly existed and could only be hard by special weapons like the Jade Iron Blade.
The night was deep and quiet, but the nearby people seed utterly unaware of the piercing scream.
After making his move, Qin Ming opened the Newborn’s Eye to investigate, only to see the last of the green smoke disperse.
In the fireless uninhabited area, even when Shallow Night arrived, it brought little light.
The next day, as everyone prepared to set out, they were shocked to find that five mbers of the sixteen-person group were missing. They had vanished completely, without a sound.
"What happened last night? I didn’t hear any sounds of fighting."
"We can’t stop anymore; we must go all the way to where there’s a Fire Spring without camping!"
The group was frightened.
Qin Ming remained silent, saying nothing more as he continued on the road with them.
This ti, they encountered no incidents because they rushed straight to a bright little town with a Fire Spring.
