Chapter 444: Chapter 264: Mad God Erges from Yujing (Part 3)

Qin Ming left here alone, parting ways with the others.

Because, it wasn’t very far from the Dragon Pond.

As he walked away, he vaguely heard footsteps behind him. With a clang, the mont he drew the Jade Iron Blade, the entire world seed to fall silent.

From then on, his journey experienced no further incidents.

It must be said, the land where the deep pond was located was incredibly desolate. Over a thousand years had passed, and not many people had visited this place. It had long been forgotten.

Along the way, let alone villages or towns, not even normal creatures were seen. The cursed land was naturally devoid of life, with nine-tenths of the area being barren land.

Fortunately, over the thousand years, the mountains and rivers had not changed much.

Following the records in the book, Qin Ming traveled through the pitch-black wasteland. So areas were terrifyingly silent, without even the sound of the wind.

Finally, he arrived!

Originally, this place was so dark that one couldn’t see their hand, but with his “Newborn’s Eye,” everything beca clearly visible.

In the desolate land, a massive deep pond lay ahead, exuding thick plus of Evil Qi. Ordinary living beings would find it hard to survive here.

Qin Ming sat by the edge of the pitch-black pond, feeling an intense cold. The Yin energy was overwhelmingly thick, like steel needles piercing his flesh, seeping into his bones.

For him, having mastered the special Heavenly Light Force, akin to possessing a Pure Yang Body, he still felt the chilling cold, showing the peculiarity of this place.

“I hope I can catch a dragon too.”

Qin Ming activated Heavenly Light, the fishhook glistened as it swiftly plunged into the deep pond. He kept releasing the fishing line, wanting to see how deep the Yin Pond was.

“What… hundreds of ters and still not reaching the bottom?!”

Suddenly, the hook seed to catch on sothing, and it sank sharply. His heart leaped; could it be so strong? He had just arrived and already had a catch!

Undoubtedly, any living thing fished up from such a pond, steeped in Evil Qi, was likely a transformation of fiends, and this filled his heart with anticipation!

“Could another dragon have been born here?” Qin Ming’s eyes sparkled.

He hurriedly reeled in, feeling this was the mont to bring in “tough goods”!

Because, this transford fiend was no lightweight!

“Co up!” Qin Ming quickly pulled the line, Heavenly Light bursting forth.

“Hmm, not a dragon, but in human form?” The hook was still far from the water’s surface, yet he could see through the murky pond a figure with long hair floating.

Qin Ming felt his hair stand on end. It was the dead of night, and he was in the wilderness, fishing in the Yin Pond. The blurry outline under the water was sowhat frightening!

He comforted himself, saying, “It’s fine. If sothing’s going to take shape here, it should be a human form fiend.”

For the final pull, he said, “Co up here, big treasure!”

Qin Ming was montarily stunned. The long hair floating underwater, the tall figure; could this be the fabled beauty fiend?

With a splash, the dark surface shattered as his catch was pulled out.

“Hiss!” Qin Ming’s hairs stood on end; this was definitely not a fiend, probably a flesh-and-blood body, or more likely a corpse!

As he examined it more closely, he realized it wasn’t any “big treasure,” but a grotesque “old treasure.”

This person had a rather ferocious face, baring teeth, already of significant age.

Qin Ming almost let go to throw it back.

However, he didn’t want to lose his fishing gear.

More disturbingly, what he pulled up wasn’t just one “old treasure,” but a threefold bounty, with two more hanging below!

Qin Ming felt his scalp go numb. Late at night, had he co here to fish Evil Ghosts?

“Hmm?!” Then, he was shocked, his pupils dilating. One of the old treasures looked very familiar. Had he seen a ghost? It truly must be a ghost!
