Through communication with the rag doll, Yang Xiao gathered so key information: he was currently in a hospital. There were three ghosts present, codenad Frog, Hai Hai, and Hu, and they seemingly played the role of doctors or so kind of administrators in this hospital.
Moreover, many rag dolls were imprisoned here, and the situation of the other contestants seed similar to Yang Xiao’s. Each was tasked with helping the rag doll in their respective ward find its body.
Recalling the terror of "Frog," Yang Xiao urgently needed to know the characteristics of the other two ghosts, Hai Hai and Hu. "What are Hai Hai and Hu?"
Concerned about upsetting the rag doll, Yang Xiao subtly omitted the word "ghost" and used "thing" instead.

To Yang Xiao, this was a large-scale but chaotically governed comprehensive hospital haunted by ghosts.
At a corner, Yang Xiao found the number corresponding to the floor level; he was on the third floor. The building was L-shaped. At the ends of the corridor were stairwells. Besides the staircase, two old elevators were installed at the L-shaped corner. As he passed, Yang Xiao saw the lights inside were still on, indicating they were still functional.

He reached a door near the corner; it was a small room with the door slightly ajar. He had checked it before and it was safe. He gently pushed the door open, quickly slipped inside, and then slightly closed the door again. Peering through the gap, he had a clear view of the elevator.
