Dorothy had, for once, gotten a truly good night's sleep.

She rembered clearly how she had collapsed. The accumulated stress, the exhaustion from so many days without rest – all of those were reasons.

But the biggest reason was still the fact that she had managed to ensure Liliweiss's survival.

For Dorothy, it had practically beco a heart demon.

Only heaven knew what she had felt on the battlefield when she saw Liliweiss lying motionless on the ground, blood nearly pouring from all seven orifices.

"The sky is falling" wasn't even enough to describe her emotions at the ti.

Liliweiss had always said that if she was gone, Dorothy should inherit the position of captain, and Dorothy had always worked hard for that goal. Among the entire Goddess Squad, she was the one who took the matter most seriously. Having once been part of a political family, she possessed an innate ability to force herself to act rationally, setting emotions aside.

After washing up in her personal quarters, Dorothy observed the surroundings. The facilities were almost excessively complete. Compared to the last ti she had co here, the difference was enormous.

"Lady Dorothy, are you awake?" A knock ca from the door. "Breakfast is prepared. Please proceed to the dining hall."

"Ah, th-thank you very much, Lady Dorothy!" Rapunzel instantly woke up. Dorothy was very skilled at this sort of thing, but she rarely helped everyone with such little tasks, so today's experience was genuinely precious.

Dorothy's movents were gentle, and Rapunzel's hair was incredibly smooth, with an excellent texture. Just like that, the two followed the signs toward the dining hall.

Dorothy was lost in thought, while Rapunzel imrsed herself in the comforting experience, smiling nonstop.

But the mont they stepped into the dining hall, they saw soone they never could have imagined would be there.

"Dorothy, Rapunzel, did you sleep well?"

Liliweiss sat in a wheelchair. She was no longer wearing her tight combat suit, but instead loose, comfortable casual clothes. A blanket covered her knees. Her complexion was still slightly pale, but her spirit was nothing like before – her gaze was calm and full of strength.

It was the sign of a body recovering.

Dorothy's hands froze.

Rapunzel covered her mouth with both hands, and tears burst from her eyes instantly, without any warning.

"Li-Liliweiss…" Rapunzel practically threw herself at her. In this mont, she was no longer the future Pope nor a devout nun. She was simply a younger sister crying from happiness because her older sister's body had recovered.

Dorothy took a deep breath, forcing a smile onto her face. Her eyes were red, but she still walked over.

"You've finally woken up. Everyone has been worried sick. But since you're awake now, this temporary command authority, I–"

"Dorothy." Liliweiss smiled softly and raised a finger, blinking at her. "Let's not talk about that yet, okay?"

"Why?" Dorothy asked calmly, genuinely confused.

"Mm… probably because this is supposed to be relaxation ti. I want to give everyone a little vacation for now. Let everyone rest properly for a few days. Work and rest should be balanced, right? Staying tense all the ti gets exhausting."

Dorothy looked at the woman before her, who now seed gentler than heroic, confused – but she had no objections to Liliweiss's suggestion.

What was there to argue about? Whatever Liliweiss said, went.

Even an idiot could tell that ever since the Ark Guardian mission, the Goddess Squad's role had shifted from proactive assault to mainly covering evacuations. So before the Ark migration operation officially began, they practically had nothing they absolutely needed to do.

Thus, Dorothy simply cooperated with Liliweiss. Together, they sat down at a large round table, chatting casually while waiting for everyone else to arrive.

"No! Stop running! Your body's only rested for a few hours! You can't move around recklessly yet – stay in the wheelchair obediently!"

Rapunzel burst out laughing.

Even Dorothy wore a helpless smile.

Because this was the rhythm the Goddess Squad was supposed to have.

And also a rhythm they hadn't heard in a very, very long ti.

With a loud bang, a flash of crimson rushed into the dining hall and struck a pose that scread "I'm super strong!"

"Aha! Everyone! Red Hood has made her dazzling entrance!"

Then she instantly sat down directly beside Liliweiss.

"Yo, Boss Lady! You're awake too!"

Behind her, Snow White rushed in pushing an empty wheelchair, cheeks puffed up in anger.

"Red Hood!!!"

"Hahahaha! Sorry, sorry! Snow White is just too adorable! But seriously, you should trust your own handiwork a bit more, alright?" Red Hood laughed loudly.

She was absolutely full of energy now. Although her replaced arm clearly looked different from before, she appeared practically perfect.

"Eh? Speaking of which, where's Scarlet?" Red Hood placed a hand over her forehead like she was scouting the horizon. "Why haven't I seen her?"

"Move aside, Red Hood."

At that mont, Scarlet's signature cool voice ca from behind her. Then a gigantic platter was gently placed onto the round table, instantly occupying almost the entire surface.

It was piled high with food – and every dish perfectly matched the preferences of each Goddess Squad mber.

"Whoa! Cola and pizza! I love it!" Red Hood's eyes sparkled.

"This huge stew… is eating this for breakfast really okay?" Snow White said, tears of emotion once again leaking from the corner of her mouth.

"Honey pancakes… Scarlet, you can make these too?" Rapunzel looked pleasantly surprised.

"My opinion of you has improved." Looking at the English scones with strawberry jam, the vegetable salad, and the steaming Earl Grey tea, Dorothy offered rare praise.

"Why am I the only one stuck drinking porridge…" Liliweiss's expression froze. Puffing her cheeks out, she looked toward the doorway.

There, two n were walking in while chatting and joking with each other.

"Commander! I want your hot and heavy at!"

"Denied. You just recovered from a major illness and already want at? Drink your porridge obediently."

Charon replied expressionlessly as he casually shoved Andersen to the side, completely ignoring the stunned expressions of the surrounding Nikkes. He walked behind Liliweiss and placed down a plate of apples and a plate of tamagoyaki.

"Think of this as extra toppings for you. Don't expect anything more. You know how tight resources are," Charon added while setting the food in front of Liliweiss. "I know you want steak, but right now, finish your porridge. Not a single drop left."
