Irene sat inside the car waiting for a while before Asher finally ca out of the store, holding a bag. He tossed the bag onto her lap, then fastened his seatbelt and started the car.
He didn’t say a word to her, leaving Irene staring at the bag in her lap, lost in thought for a long ti.
"Where else do you want to go?" Asher asked as he turned his head towards her.
"Hmm..." Irene thought it over carefully for a long ti. This day, she really ought to think about how to make the most of it; opportunities like this don’t co often.
Candlelit dinner? Strolling hand in hand?

Land Family Villa.
Sophie sat at the dining table, facing a large spread of delicious food by herself, but she had no appetite at all. She pulled back the chair, stood up, took the coat from the rack, and was about to leave.
"Miss Smith, you’re not eating, where are you going?" Nanny Garcia quickly stopped her. "Besides, it’s snowing heavily outside now, I don’t feel comfortable letting you drive alone."
"Nanny Garcia, you don’t have to worry about that, the roads are fine, there’s no ice." Sophie insisted on going out, "I want to visit Luke’s ho to see Alexander, I haven’t seen him for a while, I miss him."
"Hey, Miss Smith..." Nanny Garcia hadn’t finished speaking before Sophie braved the snow and headed to the parking lot to get her car.
When she arrived at Luke’s house, Luke, Eva, and Alexander were sitting on the sofa, playing around. Eva seed to be on Alexander’s side, with the two of them on either side, ’attacking’ Luke.
"Ahem..." Sophie lightly coughed a few tis, and the people on the sofa finally shifted their attention.
"Mommy!" Alexander happily got off the sofa and dove into Sophie’s arms.
"Oh! Sophie, why didn’t you say anything before you ca?" Eva excitedly got off Luke and walked towards Sophie.
"What were you just doing, bullying Luke?" Sophie noticed earlier that Alexander and Eva, one big and one small, were sitting on Luke’s lap, seemingly fighting over sothing.
"Sophie, you were spot-on!" Luke sighed helplessly, "Your good son and good friend just know how to bully ."
Luke feigned a look of grievance, while Eva couldn’t be bothered to entertain him.
"Mommy, why didn’t Daddy co?" Alexander looked behind Sophie but didn’t see the figure he was hoping for.
"Oh, your dad... has so business at the company, so he can’t see you today. Tomorrow, tomorrow I’ll ask him to co over."
Luke and Eva exchanged a glance, understanding in their hearts as they watched Sophie hesitating and faltering.
"Sophie, co upstairs with , I have sothing to ask you." With that, Eva took Sophie’s hand and led her upstairs.
