Sophie Smith and Asher Land’s expressions instantly stiffened for a mont.

Asher Land dashed upstairs, with Sophie Smith following closely behind.
"Miss Irene, this drug addiction hasn’t been controlled well. It’s back whenever it wants..." Nanny Garcia voiced repeatedly, sowhat anxious.
When Sophie Smith and Asher Land went upstairs, they saw Irene Morton weakly crouched on the ground, leaning against the bed. Her body and face were twitching, her pupils were dilated, and she was continuously uneasy.

He picked Irene up from the ground and gently placed her on the bed.
"You stay here and look after her. If she wakes up and there’s anything unusual, co to my room." Asher Land said to the maid nearby.
Afterward, he glanced at Sophie Smith and took her out of the room along with him.
"Let check your wounds." Returning to the master bedroom, Sophie Smith eagerly rolled up Asher Land’s sleeves to reveal his arm and hand, covered with the deep and shallow red marks left by Irene. Sophie Smith couldn’t help furrowing her brows.
"I’ll go find Nanny Garcia to get so ointnt, wait for ."
Asher Land hadn’t finished speaking, and Sophie Smith was already swiftly walking out of the master bedroom.
She found the ointnt as quickly as possible, "I’ll apply the dicine to you."
Asher Land obediently extended his arm, the cool ointnt applied to his hand caused a slight sting.
"Today... How did you and Irene spend the day?" Sophie Smith asked nonchalantly while applying the ointnt.
"What do you an, how?" He didn’t understand what she was referring to.
"Didn’t you two go on a date today?"
Her voice was a little soft, with her head slightly lowered. She didn’t know if Asher Land would mind her asking like this, since it was her who asked him to accompany Irene initially. Now, asking this way seed sowhat untily, and she was a bit distracted, aimlessly dabbing his wounds with a cotton swab.
"Let do it myself."
Asher Land took the cotton swab from her hand and casually applied it to his wound a few tis, considering it done.
