This night passed very quietly.
In the morning when Sophie Smith woke up, the first thing she did was pull back the covers and check her body for any ambiguous marks. After all, she had slept soundly and didn’t know if Asher Land had done anything to her.
"You suspect that much?" Asher Land’s lazy voice sounded in her ear, "It looks like I didn’t do anything last night, really sorry for not fulfilling your suspicion."
Sophie Smith awkwardly withdrew her hand from lifting the covers and glared at him weakly.
It was Alexander who entered the room to wake them up.
Although Sophie Smith still felt tired, when her son ca upstairs personally to wake her, she forced herself to get up and went downstairs, with Asher Land following closely behind.
When they reached the dining room, Irene Morton was unexpectedly there as well.

"No, we don’t mind," Sophie Smith replied with a smile and sat down beside her, while Asher Land hesitated for a mont before sitting across from them.
"Are you feeling better?" Sophie Smith asked worriedly, as Irene didn’t seem well last night.
"Yes, much better. Thank you, Sister Sophie, for your concern."
Sophie Smith’s fingers stiffened a little as she held her breakfast; she still wasn’t quite used to Irene Morton being so well-behaved.
In the dining room, the three of them didn’t say much. Asher Land took a few casual bites before he was about to get up, but Irene Morton called out to him.
"Brother Asher, I booked tickets for an Italian band concert. Let’s go listen to it tonight."
"I don’t have ti."
"But didn’t you say... you would be with these three days?" Irene Morton sounded a bit dejected. She really needed him for these three days, could he not agree just this once?
Sophie Smith turned a pleading look toward Sophie Smith, who hesitated for a while before finally speaking.
"Asher Land, don’t you have ti tonight?"
