"You should be thankful, the Asher Land you see isn’t that dark." Oliver Johnson walked up to her, and Sophie Smith instinctively stepped back two paces.
Seeing her resistance, he felt a bit helpless.
"At least Asher Land wouldn’t do what you did, using the people closest to to threaten , nor would he do those things to my friends."

On Tuesday afternoon, the long-falling snow finally stopped, and the warm sunlight slowly lted the thick snow cover, dismantling the snow-covered world.
Sophie Smith sat in front of her computer, watching an old movie she once starred in, "City of Desire."
The movie encountered many twists and turns and was banned, but she went through great lengths to get back a film reel.
She didn’t know why she did it; she felt that the movie held too many mories. Letting it disappear like that left an unpleasant feeling in her heart.
Because of this movie, she intersected with Asher Land, sinking deeper and deeper.
Her thoughts seed to return to the past, suddenly recalling many things, sotis frowning, sotis smiling.
She didn’t know how long she had been lost in her reverie until a ringtone broke her train of thought.
"Miss Smith, this is Robert Williams. Do you have ti now? Could you co to the Golden Era Consortium?"
"Is there sothing wrong? Is Asher Land looking for ?"

Sophie only felt that Robert Williams’ tone seed a bit off, but she had no idea why.
"Robert, has sothing happened? Don’t keep it from ."
Robert Williams hesitated for a mont, still fearing the situation would escalate. That would be bad for both Asher Land and Sophie Smith, so he laid out everything.
"Miss Smith, your father just ca to the Golden Era Consortium, saying he wanted to see President Land. President Land was in a eting and didn’t agree, but later your father caused quite a scene at the company, even threatening that if President Land didn’t see him, he would die at the entrance of the Golden Era Consortium..."
"How could this happen?" Sophie panicked, standing up to grab her coat from the hanger and hurriedly walking out.
"Later, President Land took your father to his office, but we don’t know what will happen next. Only President Land and your father are there."
Robert Williams explained the situation to Sophie Smith in detail.
"Robert, I’m coming over right now; can you pass the phone to Asher Land for ? I want to speak with him." Sophie’s tone was very anxious. She really didn’t know what Asher Land would do to Christopher Smith if he got angry.
