Sophie Smith didn’t oppose him and obediently walked back.
"Do you feel any discomfort? If you do, you must tell , don’t pretend to be strong..."

Feeling comfortable after being stabbed?
Sophie Smith looked at him suspiciously and just as she was about to speak, he interrupted her.
"Your father keeps his word, doesn’t he?"
"What?"
"Didn’t I tell him? About the deal between us."
Sophie Smith imdiately fell silent. Asher Land’s words made her inexplicably uneasy.
"Asher Land, don’t ever do such silly things again, okay? You’re not a three-year-old child anymore, why are you joking with your own life? You’re an adult, you should have the thinking ability of an adult, okay?"
What if sothing really happened to him, what would she do?
"What’s the point of saying all that, does your father keep his word or not?" He impatiently reiterated.
"No, he doesn’t."
Sophie replied grumpily, still angry. Rembering his actions, she felt a lingering fear. She couldn’t let him think that risking his life would win her over; that’s not what she wanted to see, she didn’t want him harming himself for her.
"Should I get stabbed again?" He curled his lips and looked at her, a serious look on his face.
"Asher Land!" She was almost driven crazy by him, her volu involuntarily increased a lot, and thus the doctor and nurses who just entered the ward saw Sophie yelling at Asher Land, utterly stunned.
After all, lying on the bed was the big boss of the Golden Era Consortium!
"Do you think I shouldn’t listen to loud voices for a while?" Asher Land asked the speechless doctors.

The doctors and nurses couldn’t imdiately figure out Asher Land’s incredibly unconventional thinking.
"Please tell this young lady not to shout at , I am a patient."

After Asher Land said this, the doctor really earnestly passed the ssage to Sophie, and under everyone’s gaze, Sophie awkwardly turned her head away.
"President Land, you should focus on recuperating your body, avoid large movents. Thankfully, the knife wound is on your left shoulder; if it were..."

If the knife had struck his heart, would he still be alive?
The doctor wisely shut up, conducted another examination of Asher Land to confirm there were no major issues, then walked out softly closing the door.
The ward suddenly beca extrely silent.
She sat silently beside, refusing to speak.
"Have you lost your voice?" Asher Land gave her an annoyed look, he was a seriously ill patient now, should he not hear at least a bit of concern from her? Yet she just treated him indifferently?
"Didn’t they say not to speak loudly to you? I’m afraid if I start talking, I won’t be able to control myself and want to yell at you."

Asher Land knew she was really angry. Okay, he admitted that in this matter, he did act impulsively.
Between the two, just like that, a mutual understanding prevailed, neither speaking.
She sat there, with mories of the knife piercing his left shoulder suddenly flashing in her mind; instinctively, her phone fell to the ground, tears following.
"What’s wrong?" His gentle voice ca, and she cried even more fiercely.
She was truly a crybaby.
