"Indeed, I have done things that let Miss Smith down. What right do I have to be angry with her?" Oliver Johnson said casually, smiling slightly.
"Huh?" Christopher Smith was confused. Oliver Johnson had always taken good care of them, so when did he do anything that let Sophie Smith down?
"So ti ago, Golden Era was illegally suppressing Hush Sky, to the point Hush Sky couldn’t breathe. So, I asked Miss Smith to help ’take’ so things from Asher Land. I think she hates because of that matter."
Christopher Smith’s expression was montarily stunned, unsure of what to say.
Oliver Johnson let him stay at his ho, hired the best dical team to treat his illness, and had always been ticulous without any carelessness.
Moreover, how is this matter his fault first? After all, it was Asher Land who illegally suppressed them first, wasn’t it?
Asher Land’s thods are swift and ruthless. If Oliver Johnson were to confront him openly, how could he be his match? Thus, it’s understandable that he took so asures.
"So, did Little Sophie manage to get what you wanted?" Christopher Smith asked.
"At first, she was unwilling, but later..." Oliver Johnson paused for a mont before continuing, "But later, she did it."
For a brief mont, Eva Miller felt disappointed. Sophie Smith had ntioned before that Oliver Johnson had taken advantage of her. Now, it seems true...
"Mr. Johnson, it’s not entirely your fault. If you had told , and asked her to get sothing from Asher Land, I would have made her do it too."
Clearly, Oliver Johnson hadn’t anticipated Christopher Smith’s attitude, and he didn’t say anything more.
"I’ll continue cooking. Brother Johnson, Uncle Smith, please wait a little longer."
Just as Eva Miller was about to get busy, Sophie Smith called. This ti, she didn’t dare to put it on speaker.
"What’s up, Sophie?"
"Send Oliver Johnson’s address on my phone. I’ll co over later." Eva Miller carefully glanced at Oliver Johnson and found him talking to Christopher Smith, noticing they weren’t paying attention to her. So she asked quietly, "Why did you decide to co? Didn’t you have a bias against Brother Johnson?"
"It’s not a bias, it’s a correct and objective opinion." Sophie Smith replied.
"You’re not planning to co and have a big argunt with Brother Johnson, are you? If that’s the case, I won’t give you his address to co and bother him..." Eva Miller said honestly.
"Eva Miller, are you still my friend or not? I’m just going to his place to bring my dad back." Christopher Smith with him makes her indeed uneasy.
"But..." Eva Miller glanced at Christopher Smith, "But Uncle Smith might not be willing to go with you, right? Uncle Smith is living well with Brother Johnson. Do you want to take him back to the hospital or to your place with President Land?" Eva Miller questioned.

You can’t just take advantage of others without understanding repaynt. Brother Johnson has gone through a lot for Uncle Smith’s illness, we’ve all seen it, and even Uncle Smith has felt it. So don’t bla him anymore."
Eva Miller’s heartfelt words left her truly unsure of how to respond.
So, their current intention is that to repay kindness, her betrayal of Asher Land is justified? Have they ever cared about her feelings in the slightest?
