Asher Land looked at her expression, seemingly guessing her thoughts.
"Alright, I won’t go to the company, I’ll stay at ho with you."
With his promise, her heart suddenly felt much lighter.
Doctor Lewis prepared so dicine to maintain the pregnancy for her, and after drinking it, she got ready to sleep early.
Asher Land stayed by her side all the ti, though she still slept restlessly, sotis murmuring, sotis even crying. But whenever he held her hand, she quieted down a lot.
He had no idea how much pain she was enduring. Apart from staying by her side, he had no other solution.

City Hospital.
Oliver Johnson leaned against the hospital bed, his eyes blankly staring forward. Eva Miller looked at his defeated appearance, and her heart tightly wrung.
"He’s really dead, isn’t he?" His voice was so weak.
Eva Miller nodded.
He suddenly seed to go mad, tearing off the blanket, getting off the bed, and dragging his plastered leg to leave the room.
"Brother Johnson, what are you doing?" Eva Miller quickly stopped him, "Don’t act impulsively, alright?"
"Let go, I need to see her now!"
Even with his leg inconvenience, he forcefully pushed Eva Miller away. Eva stumbled and fell to the ground.
"She’s not going to see you!" She shouted at Oliver Johnson, the first ti she ever spoke loudly to him despite knowing him for so long.
"Do you think you can see her just because you want to? Even if she’s willing, President Land won’t let her out!"
He suddenly stopped, his entire body sliding slowly down along the cold wall.
Eva Miller quickly ran out of the room, calling for the Doctor. After what just happened, who knows if the bones in his leg were displaced again.
Several nurses helped him back onto the bed and carefully checked his leg injury. Actually, his injuries weren’t only on the leg; almost no part of his body was unscathed.
That day, upon learning Henry Johnson had abducted Christopher Smith again to threaten Sophie Smith, he dashed to Slope Ridge to try to stop everything from happening, but who knew he drove too fast, crashing his car, and only woke up two days later.
His mind now was full of her helpless image.
"It’s my fault, I’m such a bastard!" His face was full of painful expressions. Normally calm and gentle, he was now so anxious and uneasy.
"Brother Johnson, you shouldn’t take all the bla on yourself, this matter has nothing to do with you..."
"Ha, nothing to do with ? I’m the culprit who caused this tragedy."
His mouth showed a touch of cold despair, she must hate him to the core now.
For the first ti, he valued his position in a woman’s heart so highly; he must have been crazy to force her to do things that made her suffer.
He closed his eyes, a tear sliding from the corner.
Eva Miller was stunned, realizing he could cry for soone.
She stood silently by his side, saying nothing, just quietly watching him.
She wondered when he would understand there was soone like this beside him?
Soone who cared about all his feelings — his happiness, her happiness; his pain, her pain too.
It was long after she realized that her humility would never win his love.
Because he’s such a stubborn person, once decided, it’s for a lifeti.
Afraid Sophie Smith is the one he’s decided on in his heart.
