"Uncle, we’ve never collaborated with Z Country’s JT Company, yet you’re proposing that Golden Era invest fifty million pounds as an investor. This is simply unthinkable." Luke Land said, legs crossed, casually twirling a pen in his hand.
JT Company is a renowned real estate firm, which thrived a few years back, but recently, the company has been declining. In Z Country, housing prices have risen uncontrollably, creating tensions between supply and demand. The governnt has stepped in with regulation and so invisible restrictions on real estate firms. JT Company couldn’t withstand the waves of these policies and is on the brink of bankruptcy, later being acquired.
If the acquirer were Golden Era or if Golden Era had previous dealings with JT, then it might make sense for Golden Era to invest, but at present, Golden Era and JT neither have an acquisition relation nor prior collaboration. No matter how wealthy Golden Era might be, they wouldn’t just throw money around.
"Young Master, that’s not the way to put it. Even though the real estate sector is currently bleak, there’s still enormous profit potential in the future. We need to think long-term."
Asher Land and Oscar Land sitting aside exchanged a glance and nodded in tacit agreent.
"Uncle, all three of us brothers disagree on this issue. If you intend to push it through at the shareholders’ eting, it’s impossible." Oscar Land stated firmly, word by word.
Enzo Land was naturally frustrated, but he understood that the three Land brothers were united against him, sharing the sa boat. The three also held a significant number of shares in Golden Era. Engaging in a dispute with them wouldn’t bring any benefit.
