Sophie Smith lay on the bed, listening to the sound of water rushing in the bathroom, unconsciously furrowing her brows.

Where would she have his bathrobe? In the Davis family, all servants are female; only Nolan Davis is a man. Unless she asked Nolan directly, but how could she be so brazen?
No choice, she just shook her head.
"And a towel?"
"Wait a mont, I’ll look for it."
She rummaged through her wardrobe, but it seed the maid had taken everything for cleaning in the morning.

"How was I supposed to know you’d shalessly follow today?" Sophie quietly grumbled.

Sophie seriously ran to the door to check, confird it, and nodded.
Sophie returned to the side of the bed. Although they were very familiar with each other’s bodies, she still couldn’t help feeling embarrassed and dared not look in his direction.

He didn’t force her, just quietly held her in his arms, his fingers twirling her soft strands of hair, playing with them in his hand.
"Asher Land, we can leave here soon, right?" She lay on his chest, not knowing why, but she felt like she was counting away the days daily. He said not long ago that he could take her away in just a month, and she kept it close to her heart.
Sotis she knew a month might only be an approximate figure, but inexplicably in her heart, she just believed in that month.
She believed Asher Land would never go back on his word.
